Very rude and unprofessional. I recently ordered frozen chocolate with whipped cream and caramel. When I got it, it had nothing except the frozen chocolate.
I told the lady at the window "Can you tell me what's missing"?. She answered 'Nothing'. I told her it's missing the whipped cream and caramel. Her response was 'That's all you had to say' in a very rude way.
She took the item back, and came back again, and guess what? The caramel was missing. When I told her that the caramel is missing, she gave me a look and turn around.
Then all of the ladies working there (again, the ladies, and not the two young gentlemen) started to laugh amongst themselves.
To me, that was adding insult to injury, or salt to a cut.
So I asked to speak to a manager and was told that there is no manager today. It was about 10:30 am, and they had no manager?
Please note that there are two ladies that are always nice to me, but this time, they were not working that day.
I guess "when the cat is away, the mice will play".
This is not the first time I had a bad experience in this particular DD. They used to have a TV set to the News. However, the aspect ratio was totally wrongly setup.
When I spoke to the manager, he told me that he didn't know how to change the settings. I offered to assist him, but he declined my help.
Another time, the manager himself was parked in a Handicap spot. So I went in and asked who the car belonged to and they told me it was the manager's.
I explained to him that unless he is Handicap and has proper license plate or placard, being a manager (or owner) of that DD doesn't give him the right to part his car in a handicap spot. So I told him, nicely to move it, or I will call the police or the parking authority.
Regarding the TV ratio problem. I kept bring up the issue that why have a TV when the aspect ratio is wrongly setup.
Because I didn't get no response from the manager, I decided to call the corporate office. I did so and a month later, the TV was... REMOVED.
What a way to resolve a problem.
I myself am a foreigner and if I want to make America my country, I need to learn how to be polite, respect your customer and be very professionals, like many Americans.
I am not a racist because I myself am from another Country originally. But still, I was brought up to respect people (everyone) and treat them with respect.
I don't want to end up with a book, so I am going to stop right here even though I can...
Read moreThis is by far the worst Dunkin Donuts I've ever been to. I should have known better being that it's so close to the ghetto, but I try to give everybody a fair chance.
Never mind the problem I had here a few months ago, we'll just focus on today.
The store opens at 4:00 a.m., so around 4:02 I order some donuts online for my co-workers. I get to the speaker and after waiting a couple minutes, the lady comes back and says yeah we don't even have donuts right now. Now, I get it. I work in the food distribution industry. I understand some things happen. However, if you're going to have an online ordering menu, you should have it so that it reflects what you do and don't have so you're not wasting people's time and money. I feel like online ordering has been around long enough especially with a company as big as Dunkin Donuts that they should know better or have it set up better or what not by now. There's no excuses.
So then, the girl says just pull around to the window. For what? Y'all don't have anything. Maybe she's going to just refund me the cash, I don't know. What I do know is that trying to get these donuts for my co-workers I already made myself late for work and now, you're making me sit at the drive-thru window with no kind of information making me even later for work while I was just trying to do a good deed making me lose even more money while I'm already losing $11 for donuts and seemingly I'm not getting it back.
I understand it's just Dunkin Donuts, it's just a food place, it's just a low paying job, whatever, well people work hard for their money and there's enough jerks in the world that we don't need any more.
Strongest recommendation to avoid beyond any recommendation that I've ever given on Google. This isn't even counting the time their machines weren't even on to give me a drink in the morning time. Do yourself a favor, and drive a few extra miles up the street to the Dunkin Donuts in Shillington or Sinking Spring.
Oh yeah and by the way, so I'm over here trying to call, maybe I could speak to a manager and all I keep getting is a busy signal. Yeah great business you got going there. You're lucky that you got the brand name of Dunkin Donuts to carry you because if it was Joe schmoes coffee you would've been outta business two weeks from...
Read moreMe and my friends ordered 3 coffees, a cold brew with oat milk and caramel and no cold foam (lactose intolerant), a frozen drink, and a salted caramel cream cold brew. We also a got turkey sausage on a croissant and a sausage wake up wrap. We get to the window, after waiting upwards of 15 minutes with just one other car in the line in front of us and nobody behind us. The employee tries to hands us 4 coffees, 3 which were cold brews all with cold foam on it. We politely informed them that wasn’t our order and told them what we did order hoping that it was just a mix up. The guy blankly stares at us after us telling him it was wrong, proceeds to call one of his other co workers over and ask, she also just blankly stared at us. I found all of this quite interesting because at the window the employee actually confirmed with us twice that we didn’t want cold foam on the one coffee. The employee then asked us what our total was, as if there’s not a screen in front of them telling them how much our order was. We wait another 5 minutes or so, the remade coffee comes out as well as the food. My friend’s breakfast wrap was nowhere to be found in the bag, just the breakfast sandwich. Ultimately in the 20 minutes of sitting there 2 or 3 more cars showed up behind us, so we just let it go and left without the wrap. I unwrap my sandwich after pulling out of the lot to find out that they gave me a sausage sandwich, instead of the turkey sausage i asked for. My friend who got the cold brew with oatmilk, also had cinnamon syrup in his coffee and not the caramel he asked for. I feel that all of this could have been an easy fix, however we were met with an attitude by all the employees. It seemed that there was stuff operating back there with no rhyme or reason. Nonetheless we still tried to be kind, as they may have been understaffed or having...
