Stopped in here for a quick Sunday morning breakfast, and quickly found out that I was in yet another great local breakfast spot. When you walk in, you will see that this place appears smaller from the outside, as there is quite a bit of seating space inside. If you're lucky, there will be a table open for you—but if I had to guess you will probably be waiting for a table to open up (which usually only means good things). I was fortunate to stop in right before a big rush, so I was able to find a table right away, but a steady line formed at the door very soon after, and was there until I left.
The staff here is friendly, the space is clean and the service is prompt. It was pretty packed most of my time here, and I don't think I waited more than fifteen minutes or so for my food (it was probably less)—which given how many orders were coming and going seemed like a perfectly fair amount of time to have to wait.
I've only ever ordered and eaten breakfast from here, so I cannot speak on anything else food wise. If you give the menu a good once over, it will appear that they serve much of what any diner does, and that may be true to an extent, but what this place does is take what you've had before, and make it a little bit better. Sometimes the difference is subtle, but it's there and it's delicious. It also is very wallet friendly, and no one (no sane person at least) ever complained about eating out without having to break the bank.
I will be adding this place to my continuously growing rotation of delicious independent local places to grab a quick...

They still have an help wanted sign up. 1st thing they're was a confusion of which waitress was mine. We had a new waitress(I think) & another one. They both showed up at different times to take our order. Plus our sides arrived one second then came the main course.
#2. My partner and I ordered specials. I had the hot turkey sandwich with mash potatoes and chicken soup. My partner had chicken parm.
My hot turkey sandwich was good. I'm not a fan of turkey but I love open faced sandwich. The chicken soup was excellent.
My partners Chicken Parm was ok. The tomato sauce was ok. It was bland. It needed something but don't know what. The spaghetti sauce (the same) was ok. I know you shouldn't order pasta at a family restaurant. Should go to a Italian restaurant for that.
As a whole everything was ok. Restaurant was packed. Also prices have went up since pre covid. Like...
Read moreOrdered quite a bit of food from here. Paid around $50 for my entire order and various items were missing. I didn't have time to go back as it was a carry out order so I just took my loss. I was missing 2 orders of pancakes and the breakfast Special that I ordered came with 3 types of meat but I only received 1 kind of meat. Lastly, the place is infested with bed bugs! I wanted toothpicks for after we ate but as I pulled the tooth picks out of the cup, there was a bed bug on the end!!! I was too in shock to properly address it and I didn't want to freak everyone in the restaurant out so I got my food and left. I should have requested a full refund and had a talk with the manager. If you dine in here, be very cautious becuase those bugs are probably in the furniture and other little convenient...
