My bf and I went to meet up with his Uncle and some of his friends. We got there before them and decided to get something to drink and play pool while we wait. As I was ordering a drink, the bartender/manager wasnât at the counter. I waited for about almost 5 minute and she walks up and asks what do I need. I asked to order 2 Long Island ice teas. She said she needed to see my ID and e other personâs ID (as my bf was getting change for the pool table). She was very rude to begin with. My bf walks up to hand her his military ID and she said that she needed a driverâs license and that the military ID wasnât a form of ID that her boss said to accept. He asked to speak to the owner, she said he wasnât there. He asked if he can speak to the manager, she said âI AM THE MANAGER.â It was a very unprofessional experience and not inviting at all. We ended up staying to play pool as we barely get to see his uncle. We start playing bowling and our lane wouldnât reset and another rude worker comes and tells us that to reset the lane, we have to press the button by the machines TWICE. Nowhere on the machine does it say that we have to press anything yet the worker was very unprofessional as well. My bf (in a polite voice) asked that maybe they should put a sign next to the button so that we donât have to call for help when it comes to this matter and the guy kept talking and walked away. He was rude and wasnât hearing anything that we were saying. Firstly, if it is your jobâŚthen you should have some level of customer serviceâŚboth to the bartender/manager and the worker. People come there to spend their money and to have a good time. I donât know if itâs because of my skin color why the level of professionalism wasnât there. I will definitely NOT be returning to this place!!! It upsets me thinking we spent about $50 there for such poor customer...
Read moreWhile they're celebrating my nephew's birthday in need of some hot water to fix a bottle for one of the babies. I ask the people at the grill for a cup of hot water while standing there holding a baby bottle in my hand . They told me no,stated I should go to the bathroom and make the baby a bottle using the hot water in the bathroom, instead of a sterile cup of hot water. I could not believe my ears . I offer to purchased a cup of water at $1.90 ,they said no go to the bathroom the water in there gets hot. I offer to purchase a cup of tea disguising it as a cup of tea asking them not to put the tea bag in the cup of water , that I paid a1.90$ for at first they refuse the cup of hot water without putting the tea bag in the cup. I then had to argue with them not to put it in the cup. The rudeness and disrespect of being told to go to the public bathroom and make a baby's bottleđ¤đŹ not to mention using unsterile water đ¤was so disheartening as they also called security ,after asking them would they like to eat their food and have it prepared in the bathroom. Securities / management was call and his response to me was we really going through this over water. Just over water maybe not but having two white people tell me an African American female grandmother and mother to take and go into a nasty bathroom and prepare my baby's bottle is just wrong. The family had a great time bowling even though the lanes kept getting stuck but the rudeness and disrespectful treatment buy those at the grill, they should be fired if not...
