Tubby's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Redford Township

We usually go here & it’s always great. THIS time we went & ordered our normal subs, jumbo, 12 inch. After spending $38 and being EXTREMELY hungry imagine our dismay when we got home & the food looked like what I imagine prison food must be like. There was hardly any meat, I ordered bacon, there was one paper thin slice on it. I usually don’t get lettuce & tomato on a hot sub but at least if I had done so this time I would have had a filler. The food was SO BAD I felt compelled to call. The lady was very polite but she told me that the meat is already proportioned out & for a 12 inch steak & cheese sub you get 2 pieces, when it’s a jumbo you get 3. Whatever!! Every other Tubbys has obviously been breaking some rules because I’ve NEVER gotten a sub so sparse. This thing was so terrible I took all of the meat & put it on one side & threw the other half away. It STILL wasn’t enough & NO WAY in hell I got extra cheese. Either way, I told her I had to go in my kitchen & find something to eat because I was still going to be hungry. WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK. With SO MANY competitors you would think that they would at least TRY to make something edible. SAVE YOUR MONEY & DO NOT GO HERE. Nothing can make it better. The people who USUALLY work there were gone so I don’t know if they were off or if they no longer work there. I suppose I’ll never know, will...

If this place was not so filthy dirty I would actually be upset that they are refusing to serve me food but in reality it's probably a good thing for my health. This place is open until 10:00 p.m. last week I came in after work at 9:15 p.m. I was in the lobby for about 10 minutes by myself before I decided to call and tell them that I'm standing there and waiting for service. Today I come in at the exact same time and the same thing happened, except this time when she finally came to the register she tells me she's closed. Where's the consistency? Google says you're open last week at this time you were open your door is open you are here and your oven is on why are you telling me that you're closed? Is it pure laziness? I'm failing to see any other...

Just placed an order over the phone,an order for a family of 4 mind you. The girl taking my order of 2 subs and 4 sides said well god d@m you want all the sides! We aint got no pickle chips you getting poppers to d$m! I'm sorry did my little order mess your night up? Did you have prior ingagments instead of working and doing what you are paid to do! Sorry if I inconvenience you in some way by placing an order at your establishment! Trust me if I didn't already give you my card number you wouldn't have to do what you are paid to do!
