Cuca's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Redlands

Originally had Cucas in Lake Forest and fell in love but I don't live out there so I was happy to find out they had multiple locations. I ASSUMED the food would taste the same at this location, well folks I was highly disappointed to say it's not the same taste 😤 The rice, beans and enchilada sauce totally different despite what anyone says ✋. The service was bad here, the girl hostess wanted to have a staring competition with me once I walked in. I shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job by seating me. She wanted to ask me what I was here for? To EAT obviously! 🤦‍♀️what kind of stupid question is that? After we ordered and ate our food we were waiting for the check but it never came 🕣 so my husband had to ask for it. Then it took forever for someone to pick up our check, so again my husband had to get up find somebody and pay. The waiters were hiding behind the wall just on there phones 🙄😤. Horrible service, shouldn't have tipped but I did though. Last time I checked servers have to WORK for their tips instead of just expecting it! Should have listened to my husband and not...

This Cucas has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I put in a mobile order for 8 people on Sunday around 6:30pm. On Google it said they close at 8pm. My mobile order goes through and I make the 20 minute drive from where I was to the restaurant. I go in and tell the hostess I’m here to pick up my mobile order. She asks for my name and then proceeds to tell me that they canceled my order because they “closed early today” then gives me this tough luck expression on her face with zero apology. The restaurant was full of people eating and there was a man behind me picking up his to go order that they had prepared. They had not closed early. Furthermore I looked at my email history and they waited a full 10 minutes to cancel my order after I had initially placed it and the app said my order would be ready in 20 minutes. The best I can gather is the kitchen saw I had placed a larger order and was too lazy to make it since it was 1 hour before closing. Unacceptable! I will not be coming...

I have been coming to this cucas since I was young, I absolutly love cucas Mexican food. My favorite but the last several times I’ve gone to this one specifically I’ve had HORRIBLE service. The food has always been great but we get treated bad. They sit us down, don’t acknowledge that we are there to even take our drink order for 10+ min while a couple got sat down next to us they got drinks and chips within minutes. They give us the wrong order, argue with us then they go and fix it. When they drop the plate off they throw it on the table and walk away just as fast. Never ask us for refills. I usually have to ask if we could have chips, salsa and refills on drinks. Sometimes even need to ask for silverware. There are only like three people that work there that are actually nice. I know Brandon is a good one. I forgot the names of the other two. I know ones a busboy that someone’s is a waitor. All I can say is from now on I plan on only taking...
