McDonald's — Restaurant in Redlands

My son in law was hired to work for them he has a disability with cleft lip pallette and sometimezs its hard to u derstand his speech. they treated him very indifferently and barely gave him any hours while promising. At least part time he worked 3 hrs of orientation then mon- wed from 10-1 for 3 weeks in a row with his last shift was a 10-4 he wasnt scheduled for but had gone in to acquire about his pay he had yet to recieve almost a month into his employment the asked him if he could work he did and then let him know he was leaving the job because he was unhappy with the hours he was given and only 9 per week. He resigned nov 28. And to this day has recieved no pay bei g told several occasions oh its in the office locked the manager is not here. Or they sent it back to corporate yada run around well he called corporate today only to find out mcdonalds. In big bear lame is privately owned when we reachdd the owners manager. She said she was writing a check out as they spoke for 7 missing hours. Ok so thats for the 10-4 shift and one hour of orientation so where are the other 28 hours. She statedrex there is no record and the store manager turned his time in and then she asked if he clocked in and ths answer is no ,the store manager did not let him clock in. She said she would keep tabs on her paperwork. with That said. Luckily he was smadt enough to record.his time. For his own accountabilily ,so thinking he would be given the courtesy of resolving the issue speakung to tbe owners management we then again were referred back to. The management in big bear , who was supoose to return the calk promptly early noon today. again no call nor explanation as to why they dont have his hours or pay on record and the way he was treated is beyond anything i imagine the management team there have alot to learn on how to manage a successful business with employees that stay. Thank god the lord blessed my son in law wirh a better job. but unfortunately he doesn't get a paycheck til after christmas. And mcdonalds you almost ruined the heart of his Six year old sons christmas .i would never allow my grandson to go without anything that he wants or needs .but you cant fix the fact that there are labor laws in which you have undoubtedly breached and you have hurt a father who could not provide gifts himself to his child and lets not to mention when a job is a loss whether on your terms or theres you have 72 hours to pay them. well its been a month. Hes a good man never been in trouble trying to make an honest living working two jobs at times along with side work to provide for his family. and when you treated him with no respect like he was illiterate and didnt know any better thats where u are wrong its cleft lip not brain damage. Excuse after excuse to where his check is by your management team. i smell some shady business and no time cards just doesnt seem legit now does it .well good to know your not a franchise so it doesnt hurt the real McDonald's Corp. Who probably run their business. Proper and fair but as a privately owned business in a small community of people who are small business owners as well would be appalled at the way your conducting business and are treating people any sort of way because they have a disability shame on you managers here at mcdonalds in big bear lake who discriminate and pretty obvious simeone has there hand in the cash bag literally not alliwing clock in by the time cards but manually write his time in her books whats im thinking maybe someone else is getting the clock in hours while my son inclaw works and manager and employee are splitting someone elses wages. Just a theory but clearly someones getting paid its its not the one who...

Had to run an emergency errand the day I went and needed to feed my grandson, got in the shortest line about a ten minute wait, when I got to the order station I was asked to hold ...the was no one behind me.. the other order station had just finish their order it was hot my grandson was fussy and I didn't want to roll up my window just in case the order taker came back to take my order ...after another 8 minutes still nothing and a car pulled up to the other order station I heard the order taker speaking for a while and realized they were taking their order before me who they had left on hold ...the lady from the other car looked at me thinking I was headed to the pay window so she took a while to drive up ..after a little wait she drove up to the pay window and when I saw another car pull up to the order station I just gave up and went to the window and told the young man someone had put me on hold and ended up taking the order of the car in front and my grandson was thirsty and needed something to eat so I wasn't going to allow another car to get ahead of me ...the young man took my order and I paid ...when I got to the window for my order I had asked for double fries and was given apple slices told the other young man at the second window I had asked for double fries and he fixed my order when I pulled over just down the street I realized most of the fries were mainly ends ((pointy ones instead of full size fried)) the kind that seem safe for a child to eat and I didn't get any napkins a typical missing item all McDonald's are known to not give ...so sad that McDonald's still can't get it right in my book no matter what city I visit I wish I could give no stars just angry faces because this wasn't a...

They yet remodel yet again at this McDonald's. Not only the remodel unwelcoming, they made it so you can only have use the kiosk machine. They took out the soda machine so you have to ask for refills. Forget about refill. FIve employees walked right pasted us. We ask few them and they look at us and they walk off. Managers ask four different employees to help us. Top the cake. We got a number for our table and they just yelled our number. Put to go bags. Wasting product. Oh refills they just gave us new cups. More wasted. For get getting ketchup they won't help you. As we were eating they were putting chairs on the table without cleaning table that were dirty. Not wiping any tables Most the tables discussing. It was only 6 pm. I ask why they putting the chairs up to mop and if we need to move for them. Employee said no we don't want people sit in lobby so we do this so they cannot sit here and we can lock inside early. What happen to mcdonald's? What am I going these place and getting no service when it is their job. Thanks for rising minimum wage. They are lazier and dont do anything. A&w and Jack in the box still service you and are friendly. This place mcdonald's is a joke. I didn't believe how many people they ignored when they ask for help with the kiosk. It should be optional. I know it to cut out more job. Since minimum wage went up. Less jobs and hours....
