Apple Teriyaki — Restaurant in Redmond

We were genuinely looking forward to supporting this local establishment, but unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. After placing and paying for our order, the interaction we had with the staff—particularly the individual at the counter—was shockingly hostile. We were yelled at and treated with open disrespect, without provocation or explanation.

The environment became so uncomfortable and unsettling that we made the difficult decision to walk away—leaving behind the meal we had already paid for—because no food is worth enduring that level of mistreatment.

This review isn’t written lightly. We believe in giving businesses the benefit of the doubt, and we rarely post negative feedback. But the repeated pattern of similar experiences in other reviews suggests this is not an isolated incident, but a systemic issue with how customers are treated.

We strongly urge others to consider whether their time, money, and energy should go toward a place that seems to have little regard for the very people who keep it in business. Respect and decency should be baseline,...

The chicken teriyaki with brown rice is phenomenal here. I am very picky when it comes to teriyaki, since we have so many spots to choose from in the Seattle area but so hard to find a good one with reasonable price & portion! See my photo, portion is huge with $10.99. Are you kidding these days? Everything is already gone up so much!

The chicken is grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of sauce. I also ordered spicy chicken for my wife. It has good flavor & we love it!

The portions are huge, I usually eat half and save half for home, which will be another full meal at a later time. Great prices too. I hope they stick around these small businesses r struggling and we love to support local businesses. I ended up spoke with the owner, he used to work at I love sushi as chef! No wonder why foods taste authentic! I read about other reviews about service. Come on give them a break, they do really work hard all day. Do the honest review. Foods are amazing here. We will definitely come back this weekend again.

Super sad to say that the last two reviews were spot on. 😔 I used to love supporting this place but gosh I was treated sooo poorly when I asked for soy sauce and the owner woman said they didn’t have any. I was bummed but then just figured I’d ask for another gyoza sauce since it i figured it has soy sauce in it. She told me it’s not free and I said “well we just purchased $45 of food and we are sitting down to eat.” I didn’t have a quarter on me…so I asked if she could just put soy sauce in a little cup for me since she told me they made it here and it has soy sauce in it. She refused and so I went looking for a quarter. I didn’t have one. Just really shocked that she wouldn’t just give me a tiny cup of soy sauce nor would she give me an extra tiny cup of Gyoza sauce when we had spent plenty of money. I guess we are all small businesses because I have one, but really treating your customers will bode better than trying to get them to give you an extra $.25. Sadly I will not...
