This is the first time I walked in to this Subway because I got some coupons. I decided to use the coupon which says "upgrade to a foot long when purchase any 6" sub". One guy works there said it is basically a foot long sub for the price of 6". But by the time I paid for the sub, another guy tried to charge me one dollar more than the 6" price. I asked him why, he said he had applied the coupon. I asked why it was one dollar more. He said "where on the coupon says it is $5?" That is rude! I tried to reason with him with this simple logic. He said, basically don't look at the price on the board, they are not accurate! If they are not the real price, why do you bother having them on there? I had enough of this stupidity and walked away. My boyfriend asked him politely how his day was going and he snapped 'well, closing in 5 so what do you want' at 9:25 when the hours clearly state 10 is closing. He did not even attempt to give any explanation of an hour change, and made intentionally mediocre sandwhiches while acting grumpy the whole time. I have worked in customer service for years and I know people can be frustrating but this is unacceptable. When we asked him to change the gloves for veg sandwich, he argues saying the previous sandwich he made was Tuna and he doesnât have to change glove. It took time to convince him to change gloves.
We ordered 3 different sandwiches and when I asked him to keep them in different bags for ease of identification, he got irritated and declined to serve me and trashed the sandwiches he made for us....weird guy.
I will keep going to subway and to this store itself, but will not buy if the same guy is in shift. I hope the franchise owner is keeping track...
