Super bummed since this is so close to where I live. Service was awful. Had to ask twice for a dry erase marker for the sushi menu (after waiting a long while when had asked the first time). Menu was dirty. Soy sauce cup was dirty (had a matted napkin stuck/melted to it) and my husbands frosted beer glass had obvious lipstick marks on it. Large saki ordered came barely 3/4 full. Wasabi and ginger in a community bowl at the table for all patrons sitting there to use that day instead of fresh on the plate we ordered. Waters were never filled, plates never cleared and didn’t check in about the food. We asked for the check after waiting a long time with two restless young kids when the restaurant was maybe 1/3 full on a Friday night and after getting the check, waited a long time again until finally walking up to the counter to pay. The sushi was okay—I’m suspicious that it was just pulled straight from the sushi train with sushi that seemed to be rotating for way too long in a pretty warm room. To be fair, I’m always suspicious of a sushi train which is why we ordered fresh roles but the train goes right back to a hidden area with the sushi chefs. Some of the fish was a bit grey on the edges but I might have just been overly inspecting at that point based on my poor experience. Hoping we don’t get food poisoning. Prices were okay if the quality was there....
Read moreIt was okay. I did not know they had a sushi conveyor belt. I wish the plates said what was in it. We stuck with nigiri on the belt to be safe. We got there at 230ish. It was my husband, me, and our 7 and 9 yr old kids. The kids shared the bento, gyoza, and the desserts. We were the only ones there around 3pm when we were done. There were 2 other groups there when we sat down. It was a Sunday afternoon. The chicken katsu was overcooked. The salad was smothered in dressing that was very gingerey(for the owners: put dressing on the side and let the customers know what dressing they're getting)(and no, they didn't ask, but this seems to happen at other places too which is fine if the dressing is on the side). The tempura was good, the salmon and ahi were good, the hamachi was NOT, the miso soup could've had more of everything (miso, katsuoboki, wakame, tofu). It was okay, but a little bland. The biggest negative was the service. Our servers were good, but when we got all our food, they seemed to just disappear. We had to flag them 3 times to ask for things. You know when you just feel like you're bothering someone by asking for things? That's what it felt like. Anyway. It's okay. Would I go there again? No. I'd rather get sushi...
Read moreI am so excited every time I see some authentic food from different cultures, if you're like me you can't really do a whole lot of big traveling so it's nice to have this in the town that you're living in or very close by, with amazing food decently priced wide range of varieties of noodles salads sushi. we got there at a later time but apparently there is a conveyor belt with plates of food that they'll just dish out and whatever plates that you have that's what you pay for. and they're all priced differently I think that's from 11:00 to 4:00 I will definitely be going back again I recommend a couple of appetizers the calamari was excellent and their combination meals were so good also the ramen bowls are huge and so delicious. The service was fantastic and they're very patient honestly we ordered a lot of food so that got a couple of heads turning. the only thing I wish they would keep up with would be dusting and cleaning their floors personally I'm not eating off their floors so it's not a big deal. but I would trust them a little bit more if they kept the place clean but honestly if you don't mind a little bit of cobwebs. their food is fantastic, huge...
