We were looking for a quick bite — something fresh, not too heavy, and protein-focused like kebabs and skewers — and stumbled upon Chicken Maison in Redondo Beach. It turned out to be one of the best meals we had on our trip!

The food was absolutely fantastic. The meats were juicy and flavorful, the skewers were perfectly grilled, and the garlic sauce was out of this world — seriously addictive. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and well-seasoned.

What really made this place special, though, was the warm and welcoming service. The staff was so friendly, it honestly felt like a small family-owned place. We were surprised to find out there are multiple locations, because it had such a personal, local feel.

We ended up going back a second time within just three days, and even brought my mother-in-law — who is usually super picky and hesitant to try new places — and she loved it. That says a lot.

I was sitting next to a table who ordered a sprite and finished it, when they went for a refill they opened the cup and saw about 30 ants. They then realized they drank ants! They was furious. When they confronted management, the manager said "I know how you feel it happened to me too." This response was the most idiotic thing I heard in my life. This location let a health code violation run wild in the drink machines and in the stomachs of the customers.
