The Mexican Restaurant that never misses. Living in Redondo for 8 years tried everything. Tigres is the best Mexican Food Restaurant in all South Bay. This food is made with love, the quality is top shelf. Staff is happy all the time. The creative combo of flavors leaves you feeling accomplished. You didn't go eat, you went to go have a mini experience. MUST HAVE: Fish tacos (battered) (pico de gallo recipe is unique & refreshing) Al Pastor unbelievable combo of flavor (if you're not into spice ask for it on the side) Al pastor Nachos are incredible because of the quality of the meats & the chip they use (gotta be the corn tortillas made in house). Coconut Horchata (holyyyyy moly! You'll keep coming back for more!) incredible! They would be considered the best nachos on planet earth if only they had actual nacho cheese sauce. Not the shredded cheese that's used in 95% of places. Next time I visit I will ask for cheese on the side & run to Taco Bell or Chipotle only for the cheese sauce (not even joking). CA Burrito is fulfilling & great if you're into that. I'd try the tacos before anything. Nothing else like it. Ask for all the salsas. They're not jerks about it at all, the staff simply wants you to have a good time.
Bottom line, the best Mexican food restaurant in South Bay. I say the best because of the authenticity, quality & presentation. This isn't tarasco rosas goloso chains. This is authentic real...
Read moreLooove this place! Best tacos and ceviche! A new concept from one of my favorite restaurants, Baran's 2239. I'm always so impressed with how versatile this crew is. The menu is simple and packed with flavor. 5 tacos, 4 ceviches, 2 agua frescas and 1 horchata... boom! The Agua Chile Ceviche is my absolute favorite. Spicy, green (like the walls!! 💚) and oh so delicious. Also love the Al Pastor and Veggie Tacos. They will tone down the spice factor if you want... but the flavors are so good. The tacos are generous! Bigger than the street tacos I expected. I either get 2 tacos or 1 taco and a ceviche and it's perfect for me. It's a tiny place that's mainly take-out but there are a couple tables outside and a few indoor seats along a bar if you want to stay and eat there. Peach Jamaica Agua Fresca is a must, too. This place is crushing it! Ave E & PCH....
Read moreSuggestion, drop the attitude and don’t turn devoted customers away when you have no orders and no other customers waiting. I have a weird thing where I get skin rash upon eating eggs. Therefor, I cannot eat breakfast burritos. Because a breakfast burrito without eggs would be weird right? This place closes early and it’s my favorite basic asada burrito in town. Try ordering it in the am on the weekend and you will be met with a harsh, “WE ONLY HAVE BREAKFAST BURRITOS”..so you mean to tell me you can’t throw asada, rice, onions and cilantro into a tortilla for the only customer you had in the building? I try to come back later when “breakfast” is over only to be told they only have bacon, that’s it. I guess my love for Tigres Fuego is coming to an end. So disappointing because I F’N LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH....
