I had a very disappointing experience at this Thai restaurant and want to share my honest thoughts.
I ordered the coconut rice, which was just plain steamed white rice with a hint of coconut flavor—more like a light spray than a proper coconut infusion. It lacked the richness and aroma you expect from traditional Thai coconut rice.
I also ordered the basil fried rice with beef steak. The beef was served separately, and again, the “basil fried rice” turned out to be just steamed white rice. The basil flavor came only from the beef—not from the rice itself. On top of that, the portion was shockingly small, definitely not enough for an adult, and yet the price was over $21. It felt like a kid’s meal with an adult price tag.
To try one more item, I ordered the beef curry. Unfortunately, the curry sauce was extremely thin—almost watery—with none of the depth or richness that makes Thai curry so beloved.
Another red flag: you can’t see the kitchen or the food being prepared. In most authentic Thai restaurants, the kitchen is at least partially visible, which adds a layer of trust and professionalism. That was completely missing here.
Overall, the food was bland, overpriced, and lacking authenticity. It felt like the restaurant puts very little care or respect into their food. I would strongly advise others to skip this place and find a Thai restaurant that takes pride in quality and...
Read moreThe food is incredible. I'm vegetarian, so I really appreciated the fact that the veggies were all tender. Every detail seemed like it was meticulously crafted. The fact that they are open till 1am is a god send, even if the food wasn't some of the best Thai I've ever had. The staff is super friendly, informative and attentive! The thai Ice teas are huge, as are all the other portions. The presentation is so beautiful! Very gourmet level visual appeal, even though the prices are actually very affordable! I was expecting a bigger bill for what I ordered! The food is def more authentic style, so be careful when ordering the curries that you adjust for the authentic spicy levels!! It's still delicious, even when a bit spicier than what I was expecting haha! Bottom line, they get all my thai food/late night business from now on. Thank you for...
Read morePleasantly surprised by this place. We got there around 7pm on a Friday night. Usually prime dinner time. However we were the only party there. Ordered 200 Years Pad Thai, Fried Fish and Garlic, Tom Kha Gai, and Papaya Salad. Everything was excellent. Most restaurants pad Thai is generally flavored the same way and is usually ketchup based. This one definitely was tamarind based and delicious. The tom kha gai his your palette with sweets and sours and spices. Fried Fish was crispy crunchy deliciousness. And one of the top Papaya salads I've had. We have been trying to find a quality Thai restaurant in the South Bay. I think we may...
