Don't Waste Your Money! I stayed at Best Western Plus Inn this past Summer for a couple of days and had a terrible experience. There is no room service due to Covid but one day while I was gone, the cleaning lady went into my room without me asking for room service and took away my expensive travel coffee maker. The garbage bins in my room were not emptied and nothing was cleaned. When I reported the theft at the reception, the receptionist was not interested and acted like he was annoyed. The receptionist refused when I asked him if he could please have the cleaning ladies search in the garbage in case my coffee maker was thrown in the garbage. He bluntly said, "NO". Then I left a message for the hotel manager who never responded. After returning home, I called the hotel again and left another message for the hotel manager who never responded to me. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable. I travel for my work all the time staying at Marriott hotels and never had this awful experience. The least the manager could have done was to give me refund or offer one night of free stay to make up for my loss. The hotel staff and manager didn't even acknowledge my loss / theft and never apologized for my valuable disappearing from my room.
Additionally, there are two types of rooms at this hotel with the same room rates. The "Deluxe" rooms are inside the building and what I call Motel 6 rooms are on the outside. I paid $165/ night for the rooms that are equivalent to Motel 6 rooms. You can stay at Motel 6 in this area for as low as $65/ night. Why pay $165/ night? Don't waste your money...
Read moreWe didnt spend much time in the room or the whole center, however the reason for my 1 stars is because we kept leaving out the sign for housekeeping and no one ever came. I called before leaving on Sat Morning and asked for housekeeping, we had ran out of clean towels and were short on toilet paper. Housekeeping said they will have someone clean our room and replace the items right away. We didnt go back Sunday until Monday and the room was as if we had just left, no clean towels and no toilet paper. We slept and left again on Monday, I called again. Yet another day and housekeeping never showed. So disappointed, will not be staying there again, we finally just checked out.
Edit-Response to manager: That is incorrect, the sign was put out ONE day only, with the side that said the room needs house keeping (yes I noticed one side said don't interrupt and the other please come in). Since that didnt work, I called directly, not once but twice, however that didnt seem to work. I also mentioned to them that my husband had said no housekeeping was ok, but that we did need it after all... The lady said that they will send someone over right away (which they didnt) We weren't there for one day it was multiple days. It sounds like your trying to blame us, or put excuses. What we would appreciate is a response telling us what the best way would have been to fix the issue, as I believed we did what we were supposed to, maybe we had to go downstairs and sign more paperwork to get housekeeping??? I had made my reservation through Priceline, and the room I had initially booked was for three guests with three single beds. However, upon my arrival, I was surprised to find a room with a double bed instead. When I raised this concern with the hotel’s management, specifically during a face-to-face conversation with Anthony, the manager, the response I received was unprofessional and unsatisfactory.
Despite my in-person communication with Anthony, the hotel’s manager, the explanation provided for the room’s suitability for three guests with the existing double bed did not align with my initial reservation through Priceline or my expectations. The extra charge felt unjust, and I was left with no choice but to reluctantly pay to avoid sleeping on a sofa.
This unprofessional handling of my reservation and the additional charge for a room that did not meet my initial booking criteria has left me with a negative impression of this hotel. As a result, I cannot recommend this establishment to others. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I have no intention of revisiting or recommending this hotel to anyone.
