This place was a big disappointment. My first taste was a gf pizza my wife brought home. It was really good. So we made plans to go together and I had the Ultimate Pizza. One of the many types of mushrooms on this pizza was very chewy and that ruined the whole experience. It is supposed to have truffle essence but the pepperonis completely masked any truffle flavor. I mentioned this to the staff and they were nice enough to give me some extra truffle dust. It did not help. Again, the pepperonis just overpowered that flavor. I thought the toma had something to do with tomatoes but when the pizza arrived without tomatoes I asked the staff about it. That was when I learned that toma was a cheese. I canāt say I noticed any toma cheese flavor. Just very disappointing. However, the next day when I had the leftover pizza for lunch, I reheated it and it was actually amazing. The chewy mushrooms were no longer chewy. The toma cheese must have properly melted because it was a whole new flavor and texture. Very creamy and very delicious. They really need to cook this pizza differently so it tastes like it did when I reheated it. So I try the restaurant a second time and order the OG chicken sando with fries. What is wrong with these fries? They had a texture like they were cooked 3 days ago and just reheated. They were inedible. Strangest texture of fries I have ever had. I donāt think frying them twice is a good idea. The chicken sando was good. Could have used a bit more slaw but I ate the whole thing. I think the restaurant has potential but the cooks need more training or something. How do you screw up french fries so bad? The staff was very nice. The video games were to expensive. I probably will not be recommending this...

I was really excited to try this place out as the distance was just about 5 minutes away from our lodging. My wife and I are from Virginia and we quite often eat at many local mom & pop pizza especially when we go to New York. We ordered the insomniac pizza 14 inch medium ($23), 12 pieces of naked wings no sauce ($17), an iced tea $3.25, overall we paid a grand total of $53 tax and tip included. I think the price is ludicrous especially since it's a self service restaurant. You order from the counter and they bring you the food, if you need extra stuff you'll need to go back to the counter, the same as if you have bottomless drinks. The pizza was great but we noticed that after a 2nd piece, it got a bit boring and the taste was getting dull. The chicken wings lacked flavor, wish it had more spice. The ranch I think was homemade so that was great. Staff was friendly, large size TVs for sports, there were really cool bobbleheads displayed and interactive arcade machines that you have to pay for (they could have made it free for already paying customers) but...

State of Mind Pizza has opened their 3RD location after successful spots in Palo Alto and Los Altos
Their freshly thin crust pies are among my favorite on the Peninsula and their newest location in Redwood City at Marsh Manor has many more options including a fried chicken sandwich, dirty fries and more
They donāt sell single slice pizza like they do at their Palo Alto location so I did what any logical person who had just eaten lunch would do: I ordered a whole pie!
From start to finish, it took 20 minutes to make the pepperoni pizza from scratch and I busied myself with the multiple large screen TVs as well as eyed the arcade games
To reward my patience, I decided to have a slice there, but one became two which become three!
I love the sauce to cheese ratio and the pepperoni cups and thin crust are quality
