Juanito's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Reedley

I read so many great reviews about this place! We left so very disappointed. The chips were chewy and they came with salsa that was quite bland. It was spicy, but it was all completely raw and unseasoned. We decided to try the appetizer but with no pork chile verde. I didn't know they didn't have chile verde cooked with chicken instead of pork(I know chile verde is made with pork, and my husband cannot eat pork or beef) and the waitress brought out chips on a plate, with some beans, cheese, lettuce and tomato, with bits of shredded chicken. Nothing had any sauce, nothing was melted. Everything fell off of the chips because it was all dry. I wish there had been a way to have an alternative meat. The coffee was made from instant and HORRIBLE! The waitress was kind and attentive. The food was nothing like I had hoped. I will try them again sometime in the future because everyone has off days...

The place is small, so if you are looking to fit a large party I would probably go elsewhere. The service is quite good, very attentive and they make sure you are being well taken care of.

We ended top sharing a wet chili verde burrito and some chips and salsa with a side of guacamole. The meat in the burrito was a little dried out as if it's not left warmed with the sauce or maybe under a heat lamp.

The chips tasted fresh and were not hard at all unlike some other places. The guacamole wasn't anything to write home about due to the fact hat is was just mashed up avocados, so definitely nothing different that you can't mash up at home...

Can't speak for the restaurant it'sself. I haven't been there since 1998. I'm reviewing the disgusting, dirty, smelly food truck that posts up outside of Moonlight plant 7 off of Reed Ave. Lets start off with the location of said truck, right by the bathrooms! Yup order your subpar lunch $3 tacos or anything else off of the other overpriced greasy options on the menu, accompanied with your meal will be the stench of human feces or is it propane? Or both? Either way that smell shouldn't be anywhere near were food is being prepped. If you're favorite seasoning is grease drop by moonlight and have some great tacos at junaitos taco...
