i use to order from this place ALL THE TIME! but its kinda slowed recently over something that happened over the phone. MONTHS ago, i had some problems with service. i called, and spoke to a woman who told me the service there wasnt good and she wouldnt be working there much longer. i then spoke to a man, i guess he was a manager, because i had been given 2 free pasta dishes and it wasnt recorded on my information, as i always order delivery. he assured me I would be given my 2 free pasta dishes and that it was recorded. so..i called back a few months later for a delivery and to cash in my 2 free pasta. i had tried to order them before that but i was told i would have to order over 10$ of food before i could get it deliverd. anyways- when i tried to get my 2 free pastas the last time, they told me there was no note left in my information!! im angry and the female manager isnt..well..nice. AT ALL. but i guess im a liar. she ALSO told me, when i told her i order from there all the time, that she didnt have any record of me ordering! i have this places phone number MEMORIZED. she had the audacity to tell me there wasnt even a male manager, except the MAIN guy who owns the restraunt. and then she says 'and hes never even HERE' like im just a big liar...im very displeased. but they do have great...
Read moreBAD EXPERIENCE TURNED GOOD.... Ordered online 2 calzones, mozzarella Stix, cheese bread. Received a call 20 minutes later to be told they only had 1 calzone left. Very odd considering this is a pizza joint. Also was told they are out of cheese bread. Was told if I wanted a refund i would have to come in in person (since I paid by card). Makes no sense. Asked if they had pizza sarcastically not expecting the response of "let me check". Wow. Then I was told he could do a medium pizza to make up for the price difference. What a joke. Clearly this is a very unorganized business that only sells pizza for one reason... it's 1 of only 2 joints that delivers in a small town. In my opinion, the food should have been free for the inconvenience. This was originally 1 star for the experience but I changed it to 5 star after being responded to by the owner after I sent a message explaining what had happened. The owner offered to not only fix my experience by issuing a refund or free food on next visit (which they let me choose) but they also spoke to their workers and increased the amount of dough to have on hand each day so this wouldn't happen to others. Very much...
Read moreIf you want to end your hunger, or just hang out with friends, family, or old acquaintances, Pizza Planet is a great place to visit. Many places to sit, which include a panoramic view of the Manning Shopping Center, and a small, but quaint booth with art depicting the cosmos. Also, due to the lack of any local video arcade, Pizza Planet provides different video arcade games for visitors to play. But the most impressive is the food. With many sizes to choose from, Pizza Planet acts as a pull-through from the olden days when Mountain Mike's Pizza occupied the building. The pizza is also well worth the small wait. Its flavor is superb, and its quality is amazing. For those health nuts out there, Pizza Planet also offers an extensive salad bar, at least in my opinion, for I have heard comments on how small the options are from other fellow customers. There is a problem, however. The restroom requires a key to unlock, and, further, this restroom is used by both men and women, causing a long wait for relief. However, even with this small dent in quality, I must say that Pizza Planet is well worth the money and a good addition to the commercial...
