Lo and behold, I entered the Reedley Honey Pearl at around 7 P.M on a Thursday night with a colleague. He and had traveled abroad from distant lands (Dinuba) to finally obtain what the legends call "Boba" As we entered the store I was greeted with a sweet, rather sugary scent pleasing to the senses. Before us sat a comfortable seating area, adorned with a verity of comfortable options. A couple bar stools stood propped against the window on our left, with the addition of small cafe style tables and cushioned seats on either side. As the both of us approached the register to order, I was faced with a difficult conundrum. What was I to get? After all, all of the menu items on display seemed wonderfully crafted, and undoubtedly delicious, However my dilemma still remained. There were just too many choices. "Get your head in the game." I told myself. Thankfully, my companion was ready to order. He confidently requested a Taro Tea. I already knew I wanted a Korean corn dog, so I made sure to order that first. Then, I finally came to the decision to order a Oreo Boba. Would it be the right choice? It seemed only time would tell. My friend and I promptly returned to the seating area. Eagerly awaiting the scrumptious food and drink that would surely grace us soon. "Are the Korean corn dogs any good?" I pondered aloud, looking up and the menu. "Super good. Which one did you get?" "I just got the original." I said. His eyes widened. "The all cheese one is way better than the original." "Really?" It didn't seem to make sense. "They gotta be about the same right?" "No." He answered. It was then that I realized my mistake. His experience with the Honey Pearl heavily outweighed mine. He had left the register before I ordered. "Well, I hope it's good." Somewhere between eternity and 5 minutes, our drinks arrived. My hands found themselves hastily fumbling toward the straw, and into the drink. "How is it?" My friend asked. Paradise. It was infinite bliss better experienced than explained. "Pretty good." I answered. Time passed as we spoke, and drank merrily. Soon it seemed the drinks were gone faster than they'd arrived. Were we ready to leave? It seemed as though our business was finished after all. Not even close. I still hadn't received my Korean corn dog. We'd already been waiting a while, and there was still no sign of delivery. I looked at my friend. "Should I ask?" "You could." The last thing I wanted was employees thinking me a Karen, but the situation was getting desperate. So I steeled my nerves and stood up. "Imma go ask." I approached the register once more, tip toeing like a hunter in the woods. My eyes nervously darting from left to right. What was to happen? Perhaps they were just about to hand me the corn dog, before I came blundering over demanding to know where the food was. I shivered. That would be unimaginable. "Hi there!" I greeted the serviceman. "I ordered Korean corn dog about 15 minutes ago and was wondering if it was ready?" Before he could respond, another employee approached and asked about the situation. I repeated my question. Without a second though she sprung into action. "Let's check the register to make sure it was ordered." Gulp. Although her idea was foolproof, if the order wasn't placed that would mean I'd have to place it again and wait another 10 minutes after we finished our drinks and our band was looking to depart. Or worse, no corn dog at all. I quickly cast that though aside. I can't think like that. "Yup, it's here, we forgot to make it. Sorry about the delay we'll get right on it." "All good," I replied, instantly relived. But then I was struck with a genius though. "Would you be able to switch the order to a cheese corn dog if it hasn't been made yet? I'd be happy to pay the 1.50$ difference right now." "Don't worry about it." She replied with a wave of her hand. "Wow! Thank you!" 5 mins later we received 2 corn dogs, and a full mochi donut!! We left victoriously. Two heroes, who got what they came for.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time there. Service was great. I've never had boba so the cashier was very helpful. I ordered the peach slushy with the peach poppins at the bottom. The little poppins were a nice addition. I didn't properly shake it so it was more of a slush on top and tea on the bottom. I enjoyed it though. Taste like genuine peach tea . I also had the donuts . They were fancy looking but taste like donuts. Not worth the money for me but I enjoyed the creme brulee and churro. Really liked the churro. It took me three minutes and a lot of questions to settle on a blended drink. It was ok, but they don't put coffee in their blended faux frap drinks. They just have coffee flavor which wasn't potent. It taste fine for a milk shake or something but not for a blended drink that have coffee like names. I would return for a slush or to their lemonade. I failed to get a picture of my donuts and...

(short, dark hair with grey peaking through) Itās 6pm, they donāt close till 10 and only had 2 flavours of donuts displayed, almost 24 donuts left in total. I kindly asked āIs this all the donuts you guys have?ā Wondering if maybe they were going to make more since they donāt close for another 4 hours. The lady almost immediately interrupted me saying āYes.ā and couldnāt even look up at me from the screen. No explanation as to why, or any sort of āunfortunately yes, we were busy and sold out of mostā. She had a stank face at that! We walked out without purchasing anything when we had plans to order drinks as well but due to the rude service we chose to go elsewhere. If you donāt wanna work there, do...
