I meeeeeeeean.... the server was super nice. Buuuuut, liiiiiiiiiiike, the food, yo. The food is where the problems lay. The coke was delicious, even though I am most definitely a Pepsi fan at heart. So, that was a plus. The hubs enjoyed the coffee, nothing special, but also nothing to write home about, either. The waitress was very kind and brewed a fresh pot for us as they were all out, so we were hopeful that the rest of the dining experience would be just as amazing and not just, well, meh. Even the booths were comfy. And the atmosphere was okay. Small, but inviting, if a little sterile, which, given the current pandemic, sterile is not such a bad thing, amiright? I ordered the garden salad and chili cheese fries and my darling hubbo chose the South Of The Border Burger, sans avacado. The sald was pretty good, though it had no cheese it did have a half of a boiled egg, white onion, tomato slices and the ickiest black olives I've almost ever tasted. All of this was served on a bed of spinach and a spring mix of greens. The ranch was absolutely yummy to the max and paired nicely with the fries (also scrumptious) that came with the burger. The burger itself was lacking in seasoning as well as toppings. The description made it sound as if it would be loaded with peppers and onions and instead there was one thin chili and a splattering of grilled onions and a thinly slice of tomato. The iceberg lettuce was the star of this burger and let me tell you, it was the star from one of those majorly run-down off Broadway plays where the actors all have three other jobs to make rent and probably also an addiction or two to keep their minds off of the fact that their lives smell like broken dreams and regret. The bun was nicely toasted, though, so it had that going for it. Now on to the chili cheese fries. Ohhh, how I love me some chili cheese fries!!! And the fries from my husband's plate were delicious! Crispy on the outside and full of potato goodness within! But my fries, my fries were not so lucky. You see, the salad came at the same time as everything else and so there was a brief pause in between the arrival of the fries and their initial ingestion. Normally, however, this would not be a bad thing, as when you think chili cheese fries, you imagine a heaping scoop of thick chili sitting atop the fries, all reddish brown and yummy. This chili, however, well, it was like someone poured chili powder into a bowl of water with beans, meat and stewed tomatoes. There was no good old fashioned thick chili sauce. Instead was a thin soupy mess which quickly turned the fries from crispy to as limp as Hugh Hefner's... well, nevermind. They were soggy, okay? I took a couple of bites, trying to find a redeeming quality, but in the end I realized it wasn't worth the heartburn it would likely haunt me with later, so I sadly pushed the bowl away and instead ordered a refill of the caffeine rich Coca Cola which was still the bright spot of the entire meal. The waitress, being amazing as she was, took the fries off of our bill, as I had hardly touched them, and we finished up and left. All in all, a pretty meh experience. Not the best, but also...

Update: 05/03/2018 It is sad that I have to update my review and downgrade my rating. I have been a fan of this place and have argued many times with my friends over a period of 2 years(since first time I came here) that the burgers here are great. I have been here numerous times and have many good memories here. On the second floor, they have a booth by the window which has been 'our spot' for me and my friends and we like to sit there. Many times it is not clean and we request the staff if we can still sit there and there is no rush to clean it and they are very helpful and kind. Last night we went there and unfortunately the booth wasn't clean and as we couldn't see a staff member at first we just sat there and waited. Surprisingly no one came to us for 20 minutes, we were under the impression that maybe they think we are the old customers so one my friends facing towards the bar counter raised his hand to get the attention of the staff and the waitress behind the counter waved back at him. We thought she meant for us to wait so no problem we wait for another 10 minutes at which point my other friend walks to the bar counter and asks if we can get some menus at which point the waitress tells him that they won't serve us we change tables. We are confused so we change tables and she comes over gives us menus and starting yelling at us that it was "rude" of us to sit at a dirty booth. We tell her we didn't know if this was a rule i.e. rude to sit at a dirty booth and that only last week we came here and the waiter at that time told us that it is not a problem. Anyways, she still goes on a rant and calling us rude many times at which point in order not to make a scene we say we are sorry and we would not to like to eat anymore and we take off. I understand this can be a one time event as I have had good service at Archie's before but at the same time me and my friends have never ever been so disrespected in public. Although we were very angry yet we tried to kept it civil. It should also be noted that instead of telling us that we did something wrong or we should change seats the staff deliberately chose to ignore us for 30 minutes despite of us trying to get their attention. I will never be going back to this place ever again because it has left a very bad taste in my mouth and it is shame as it was always my go to place to go with friends. My only intention of writing this review is so that no other customer gets disrespected and gets called "rude" in front of the whole restaurant...
