I searched online for a good restaurant near our relatives’ house where we’re staying, saw the great reviews for Dahlia’s and decided to try it for dinner. Wow! We had a terrific meal! What a gem of a place for you Reno locals!

The restaurant is clean and bright with colorful murals - very welcoming. Our server first brought two small warm gorditas drizzled with cream and cotija with house-made red and green tomatillo sauces. Unusual to have this alternative to the usual chips and salsa we get in Colorado, and we loved it. The red salsa served with chips is also delicious with freshly minced cilantro - another plus.

For entrees we had a steak fajita burrito and the enmoladas plate with chicken breast. The mole was rich and complex, and the refried beans, rice, and lettuce with pico de gallo was also fresh and tasty. I’d rate this mole in the top two I’ve tasted and I’ve tasted a lot! My husband said the burrito was great - it was large and he finished very bite.

The staff was friendly and gracious, and at the end of our meal gave us a complimentary small slice of tres leches cake, which was moist and delicious with hints of cinnamon. My husband had the house margarita, which he enjoyed. All in all, a terrific, freshly made meal! We will be back next time we visit Reno. Thank you, Dahlia’s staff! We wish you...

I will start this review off by saying the food is absolutely DELICIOUS! No complaints there. However, the service was beyond terrible. The staff seemed confused or had lack of training. Several tables around us showed frustration from lack of customer service. My friend and I waited an hour before we got water or our drinks. Food came first after an hour wait, then the drinks followed about 10 minutes later. Our server didn't understand direction either when we advised her and two other people how to split the bill. It was a mess. Don't go on a weekend night and expect fast service is my advice. Everyone seemed super scattered and no attention to detail, unfortunately. Our visit there was almost 3 hours long ( this included the wait time to check out ). BUT, the food was really great! I also think they need to up their tequila options. Paying 13.99 for a shot of Don...

Fairly priced, friendly service, colorful atmosphere, and easy parking.

I got the Dahlia's Breakfast and a Café de olla and both were fantastic. The food is a big portion, tasty, with a great mix of different things and the coffee was delicious. Our server was attentive, and brought a few complimentary items which was very classy. I had a dessert here that took me back to a specific cake I used to share with my grandmother. I've had nothing that has come close until I visited Dahlia's, and it was the cherry on top of a great meal.

Breakfast is always tough to judge because I feel like most places don't offer something outside of the norm. Not the case at Dahlia's which has exciting options and a focus on chilaquiles. That alone makes this an easy recommend and one of the best breakfast spots...
