Eclipse Pizza Company — Restaurant in Reno

More often than not what one is seeking is almost always found when it is least expected, when you are not looking. If you follow or read my humble reviews you know of my absolute love for 🍕 🍕. From Chuck E Cheese's to Wild Garlic to Blind Onion (to name a few) I have throughly enjoyed many of the pizzerias in the Reno-Sparks areas. Imagine my surprise when I happened to ask the omniscient Google god for a pizza suggestion and "Eclipse Pizza Company" was given. Tucked away among a salon, grill, and other eclectic shops, Eclipse Pizza Company is certainly a contender in the Pizza arena and definitely has the potential to totally eclipse their competition. The staff is amazing and their love of their craft shows in their fresh and incredibly flavorful pie offerings. The atmosphere is welcoming, lively, and totally relaxed with matching energy. The menu, while not overwhelming, is full of savory, delectable, fresh, and well thought out thin crust combinations and half-and-half variations. Available indoor (upstairs or downstairs) or outdoor dining is available (I suggest downstairs indoors because you can literally witness the magic happening live and in color mere feet away). Did I mention how FRESH everything is?!? Joe is a workhorse and his dedication, expertise, and love for his duties and profession did not go unnoticed by this patron. Dude is a (humble) beast (as MOST Joes tend to be... Just saying 😏). At the point of my enjoying my Pizza, I have to admit it was the highlight of my day, hands down. [2020]We had dinner at this place and it was awesome. We ordered a Large 16” pizza half mustache half mascot. The pizza was crispy yet soft and had lots of toppings. If you want to actually eat pizza and not too much dough or fatty toppings eat here. Plus, it looked as if its a family run restaurant, cause the guy who got my order looked like a very nice dad type guy and most of the workers looked liked him. lol.They had given this warm happy vibe to the the place which added to its cozy nature.

Another thing was that when the same guy came up to ask us if the food was good, he saw that we've finished a whole large pizza just the two of us and he looked as if this is unusual and said something like wow nothing left :)) lol. We usually do have left overs but this time the pizza was so good that we just decided to hell with our routine and go for it. By the way we both look rather thin and i guess that's why he presumed we wouldn't finish the whole thing:)) don't know.

All in all, totally recommend this place.

I added prosciutto to the Tour side and made sure it had a lot of olives. It was amazing. By the way it pairs very well with their Tap...

My husband, our dog, and I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Eclipse pizza! We decided to enjoy our meal on their lovely patio, and from start to finish, the service was exceptional.

I called in my order just before the cutoff time, and the lady on the phone was incredibly nice and accommodating. Despite the fact that they closed at 8 PM, they graciously allowed us to pick up our order and enjoy it on their patio with our furry friend.

When we arrived, the gentleman who rang me up went above and beyond by following me out with plates to ensure I could carry everything comfortably. He even came back out with the carrot cake I had ordered to-go, making sure we had everything we needed.

As for the food, we had the Ironman pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! It was cooked to perfection, with a perfect blend of flavors that left us wanting more.

Overall, the combination of great food, outstanding service, and a pet-friendly patio made for a fantastic dining experience. We will definitely be returning to Eclipse Pizza and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal with...
