Held an event in the separate room they have for our daughter’s baptism. First off be ready to be scolded if you never been here and mistakenly go to the wrong parking (construction doesn’t help) Food was yummy as expected she let us sample good size plates prior to the event which was a tasty experience. Everything went well the first couple interactions with owners planning our event, our expectations were really high as we had an agreement (what is provided with event package, time and clean up, and when everything needs to be paid for etc.) which we followed as AGREED upon. Here comes the day of the event and honestly we were a little disappointed at some of the service we received. Whether the place is rigged up with loose screws here and there to pay for a “repair” from your deposit will be beside the point of this review. We were told we would have waiters/waitress for our 100 guest as talked about, which actually meant the owner running around by her self to serve 100 people, many tables were left wanting a refill of tortillas or even a plate served. We were nice from the start and tried to understand but could see her frustration building. At the end we helped clean up as agreed upon, went thru trash due to throwing away a wrong bag, and still got the stank face . I’m not much of a reviewer online but what pushed me to the limit was the after our event we set up a time and date to pick up our deposit (which she took amount out for “repairs”) I get it. Come to find out I leave work early (I lose money there) and need to pay for extra child hour of child care due to the deposit pick up appt (lose money there) call the owners phone # 3 times while I’m parked in the street with no answer. Later she responds to my wife and tells her “oh sorry I was closing early”. Okay so are you gonna refund me for my lost time? Honestly if I wanted to throw an event with parental guidance every time someone stepped out I would have held it at my mother’s basement like in high-school. Make sure you check everything beforehand if you rent out the salon. We rented their salon for a party we had. One of the chairs broke as soon as we arrived before any other guests. I should have said something then and there but I did not. We were told there would be servers and it ended up just being the owner. She hung out for the duration of the whole party which we thought was weird. Per the contract, our deposit would be returned if everything was left orderly. We cleaned up tables, chairs, trash and put all the table cloths away as discussed. She was there at that time as well and had mentioned previously that there would be another party the next day. I had to follow up 3 times about the deposit and she finally told me we could go pick it up [certain day] Nothing else was mentioned. The day that we’re going for the deposit, she texts me saying she “forgot” to tell me that we broke the toilet seat and 2 chairs. Mind you, this is almost 2 weeks after the party I had there. Scam vibes. Why wouldn’t you mention that right away? And why wait until after you had already told me to go for the deposit? I proceeded to explain one of the chairs was broken when we got there and that the toilet seat shifted under me when I had sat down. I said she could take it out of the deposit She still charged me for all 3 things. The worst part is, we went to the restaurant as agreed to pick up the deposit, and everything was locked and she didn’t answer our phone calls or texts. An hour later, she responds saying she forgot to tell me she closed early. It’s honestly so messed up and so inconsiderate of our time. Especially when you’re paying a pretty penny. She was always responding late. I understand people are busy, but I would let days, even weeks pass before following up again to “be nice”. The owner should check stuff before renting the place out because seems like she likes screwing people over and charging them for old chairs. Food was good, but service...

We were the godparents for an event a few weeks ago and rented salon and I can say the service was absolutely the worst . There was no servers like they had mentioned there was going to be . A chair broke on me as soon as I sat down and that was charged for and i also saw a chair break down on one of the guys when he sat down. We were trying to ask for plates, salsa, tortillas and the owner kept saying to stop bothering her as she was stressed and the only one serving. She was at party standing there the whole time observing us dancing .The tablecloths were dirty when party started. The chairs were not in good condition. No Air conditioning so don't recomend in summer. It is not worth the money you pay . You could not ask her anything because she was in bad mood . She would not check on tables to make sure guests had been served or if they needed anything else. Don't recomend a party at there salon unless you want guests to not feel comfortable.
