Truckee Bagel Company — Restaurant in Reno

Over the years quite a few bagel shops have moved into the area. Being a bagel lover, I have tried them all and Truckee Bagel Co is still my fav. Their bagel sammies are hands down my favorite of all the establishments. They even have one with hollandaise and brie, oh do they know the way to my heart. Their bagel selection is crazy good, the jalapeno and the cranberry (that's 2 different bagels although if they combine them I would totally eat it!) are my favorites. The jalapeno has just enough kick to get me going in the morning. The cranberry bagel smeared with plain cream cheese is almost dessert-y with the sweetness in the cranberry. UPDATE: we went again this morning to give them another chance because this really was my favorite place for breakfast. Only 2 of the 5 employees had masks on this time so I guess that’s it, I will never be back and will dissuade everyone I know from ever coming here. We tried.

I am heartbroken. This is my favorite place to get breakfast and I was so excited for my BST Bagel but just now my BF and I walked in an nobody working was wearing a mask. Ordered two of the oinks benedict bagels and a plain bagel. Asked for lightly toasted on the plain as it was for a kid with braces. Thing was so toasted I could've chiseled the statue of David with it. The oinks benedicts are advertised with hollandaise sauce but comes with a garlic aioli. When asked for the hollandaise sauce the young ladies working there argued with me that this was indeed hollandaise sauce. When asked the ingredients they said mayonnaise and garlic. They were very rude and aggressive about it. Was pointless to argue with them but very poor customer service. Will not...
