If I could give 0 on all of these I would. The service we received from the moment we arrived was thoroughly disappointing.
The initial chip basket contained crumbled, leftover chips from the bottom of the bag, with no full-size triangle chips available.
We ordered two carne asada, one shrimp wrapped in bacon, crab legs with garlic sauce, a cast iron salmon, and a quesadilla plate from the kids' menu.
Unfortunately, the carne asada and shrimp dishes were served cold, while the crab legs were only slightly warm, suggesting a lack of freshness.
The rice closely resembled and tasted like boxed instant rice with added carrots and peas in an attempt to appear authentic.
When I reported the cold food to our waitress, she merely offered to reheat it. Upon returning, my plate included a soggy welted salad.
The original order included tortillas, but they were not provided until the meal was nearly finished. Furthermore, the soda ordered 40 minutes earlier was not delivered until the conclusion of our meal, when the bill was presented.
What frustrates me the most, the only hot plate was placed in front of my 2-year-old grandson, accompanied by a warning that it was hot, which was evident from the steam rising from the cast iron plate. This raises concerns about the appropriateness of the action and not thinking or having some common senses. This was also the last plate brought to the table.
Taking into account the two-hour wait time and various difficulties and disappointments the $200 charge was...
Read moreDisappointed doesn't even begin to cover it. I was craving Mexican food, so I took my two kids out to El Muchacho--a place I'd been dying to try!
It was a last-minute decision, but I made sure to check the closing time before we left. With a posted closing time of 10 PM, we arrived at 9:18 PM, confident we'd have plenty of time to enjoy our meal.
When we pulled into the parking lot, it looked deserted. I even told my daughter, "They look closed." But she pointed out that the "open" sign was on, and we could see some people inside. So, despite the rain coming down hard, we got out of the car and went in.
Once inside, the server immediately apologized and said they were closed. I mentioned the 10 PM closing time, to which she responded, "Yeah, we decided to close early today." I held back my frustration and politely left.
But I couldn't shake the feeling of disbelief. So, after driving off, I turned around to double-check if the "open" sign was still on. Sure enough, it was, and I even took a photo to capture the moment.
I was hoping for a fun, relaxed evening with my kids, filled with good food and laughter--but that didn't happen. I understand that it might have been a slow night, which could explain why they closed early. However, I can't help but feel there might have been...
Read moreI just had the absolute worst experience at this so called family restaurant. If I could give negative stars I would. We were celebrating my sister‘s birthday. There were about 15 of us. The waitress took orders from my side of the table 1st but when the food started to come out, they gave it to those that ordered last which is fine. The problem is that my order never got put in. Imagine sitting at a table with family and friends and everybody’s eating and talking and enjoying themselves, but they didn’t put your food order in so you’re just sitting there. The waitress never even asked if there was anything else that they could do. I told them to might as well cancel the order they never put in because everybody is halfway through eating so it would be pointless. They offered absolutely nothing, not even a basic apology. If you don’t speak Spanish, don’t go here. They just try to act like it wasn’t a big deal. It was beyond embarrassing. I would never ever advise anyone to come here and especially to celebrate something special. They ruined my night. I had to walk out so as not to upset my sister. But this was the worst experience I have ever had. And I know they don’t care they let me know they don’t care and I will never be...
