Support local theater and enjoy a fun night out! This theater has gone through a major change and has a new Board and management team working hard to keep theater alive in Renton. The theater has a vintage charm and is the perfect size which makes every seat in the house a good one. Bonus -you can enjoy fresh popcorn, snacks and drinks at the show. We saw “I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change” It was a top notch performance without the drive to downtown Seattle and at a reasonable price. They have a fantastic line up of shows this year- highly recommend this for a perfect date night or evening with friends.

I seen Evil dead 2 the musical here and I sat in the splash zone. Staff got everyone in quickly, they have two separate drink lines which is helpful. The seats are a bit too close together so when the lady in front of me kept flipping her hair she would get it in my drink each time but it was too loud for me to ask her to stop while the show was going. Wouldn't mind coming back but maybe they could start putting tops on drinks since you've got zero space between seats? I would see another show here I think.

This was such a fun time! The staff was passionate and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. I really appreciate the chairs they were super comfy with good leg room. My only complaint is the restrooms... obviously, this is an old building, but heads up, the urinals are close. You're either flashing your neighbor or who ever is waiting in line outside... Other then that though great experience!

We just went and saw Dracula, which was great, the actors did a fantastic job telling the story! However, the venue needs some work, it was super cold to the point of being uncomfortable, no one could take off their coats. The venue was dirty and this was the first show of the day, there was trash (bottles, wrappers & napkins, down the aisles that no one had been down yet, the bathroom toilet seat was soiled. And the show started about 15 minutes late and when you are someone who arrives early for a show that makes a difference. This was the case last time I saw a show there also. I feel there should be an effort made to start on time and to let attendees know they should show up on time so others don't have to wait on them. If this was communicated to be the norm, then it wouldn't perpetuate the late starts. Thank you for listening and I do hope some changes...

As you walk up, it looks closed. I almost turned around. I ended up walking directly up to the doors and saw that it was slightly opened. It's not a fancy theater, but it was in good repair. They have a snack bar that sells candy, popcorn, and drinks that you can take it into the theater. I was pleasantly surprised at how well done the play that I saw was. There was even a program, which I did not expect from a community theater. There is some, but not a lot, of nearby parking. Furthermore, if you have mobility issues, I suggest bringing a wheelchair or mobility scooter. I was very happy to see no stairs in the theater area. However, I believe the bathrooms are up a set of stairs and don't know if they have any disabled bathrooms on the main floor or an elevator to get to the bathrooms. Overall, my...

After seeing a show last season we decided to buy season tickets this year. It's hard to describe this theater and their productions without everything sounding like back handed compliments. The whole place is a bit shabby, the costumes and sets don't stand up to close scrutiny and the acting can sometimes be inconsistent. And yet all of that only adds to the charm. The building is a classic, the costuming and sets never get in the way of the story and there are always stellar performances from both leads and supporting players. (And even the occasional not so stellar actor is always clearly having a great time.) The fact is, I've seen some very big productions of some very big plays on some very big stages, but this theater I will keep...
