We have been to Kizuki many times, most of the time we go to either Bellevue or Tukwila but there usually is a wait so we opted to go to this Renton location this time because we were hungry. Before entering there is the significant garbage smell as always but we can just ignore that for now. We went there with our 4 kids, this location is smaller so they have to move table to accommodate the 6 of us which they did in a fast manner. We order noodle and drink for everyone, one of our drink was wrong and that's ok everyone make mistake. Next all our noodle came, except for one. I thought it may just be slower, no biggie. Our appetizer came out after that. The one missing noodle never arrived. We ask the server about this and she went away and never return, another round of noodle came out for the customer that came after us and still no noodle for us. The server proceed to sit down and enjoy a bowl of noodle herself and this is when I lost hope for my missing bowl of noodles. I waved down another server she went to check and say they are still waiting on the noodle. Finally my noodle came. I don't write review and often I don't care much about service, but this time it was just beyond terrible, not to mention one of my kids noodle was really soggy. The server never came to check on us at all during the hour we were there. Note: 6 people is consider a large party which means gratuity was already included and I have no chance to reflect my lack of service.
In general Kizuki is good, just not at this location and we have given this location 3 tries but every time there is a mishap at...

Our visit to Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in Renton left much to be desired. Upon entering the nearly empty restaurant during off-peak hours, the atmosphere felt lackluster. Staff appeared disengaged; one was even eating while another simply stood around.
Before placing an order, a trip to the restroom was necessary. The path led right in front of the kitchen, which was separated only by a half wall. To our dismay, both the hallway and restroom floors were dangerously greasy, posing a slipping hazard. The restroom itself was far from clean, further amplifying our concerns about hygiene standards.
Given the unclean conditions, we opted for a simple broth with noodles, which was average at best. Regardless of the food quality, it's imperative for a restaurant to maintain cleanliness, especially when it's not bustling with customers. The lapse in hygiene is even more concerning in the context of ongoing health concerns like COVID-19.
In summary, our experience at Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya in Renton fell short of expectations. Until improvements are made in cleanliness and overall atmosphere, we'll be searching for another spot to satisfy our...
Read moreCANT EAT HERE EVER AGAIN TILL THEY CHANGE THE MUSIC!!
Food was pretty good, came out fast, and service was excellent. But I could never sit back down in this place because they have the same approximately 2 minute song playing on a loop in the restaurant! And it's not Even thematic, it's like a strange little Irish jig!? Just over, and over, and over. We didn't notice till after we had ordered but by the time our food had arrived it was already becoming unbearable. We ate about 1/3 of our plates before we had to ask for boxes and leave. We likely would have ordered dessert/ drinks if wed have stayed longer. This music literally lost them business. When we asked the server if this was all the time they said yes due to corporate policy?! This is one of the most atrocious policy's I could think of. This is literally a form of torture. I have so much sympathy for the pour souls who have to endure that all day every shift. This is messed up please change...
