Backdoor Comedy — Restaurant in Richardson

Good night out for the cost. It was only $15/person for the comic show 8pm on Saturday. There were about 8 comedians in about 1.5 hour show. About half were hilarious! The other half didn't really speak to me, but worth it for $15. FYI: The food is typical bar food, chicken tenders, sliders or wings with fries. Fried pickles & such. Drinks weren't too expensive. 1 chicken tenders w/ fries & 4 drinks came up to about $40. It was a little chilly inside so bring a jacket or sweater. One thing I did notice is that they didn't have music for each transition of the comedians like many comedy clubs do. That would have helped keep the energy. Super friendly staff though. Decided to finally check out Back Door Comedy club this past weekend. I had a great experience! The actual comedy club was pretty quaint and only had seating for about 30 people or so. There was a 2 item menu requirement but we easily met that with our drinks. The line up was so funny! We got to hear from about 10 different comedians! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed all of them! Not only did they have some great sets lined up the comedians were also so great at adlibs. The interaction with the crowd was so amusing! Our drinks were great! Ordered a double deep eddy lemon and water and they were strong. The Comedy Club is attached to a dive bar that had Karaoke and Dollar Jell-O Shots. A friend told me about this little comedy club and I decided to try it out. People...this place is great! I had never been to a comedy club before so I didn't know what to expect. The small, intimate atmosphere was so inviting! All of the staff were so friendly and eager to accommodate us promptly with drinks & appetizers. Each comedian was funnier than the next! 8-10 comics entertained us and to our surprise some where nationally known. I liked the variety of short sets by several different comics. We laughed ourselves to tears...something for everyone. If you feel like you could use a laugh, grab your friends and try out this little club. I promise you'll find yourself there...
