Pros: The 'quote of the day' is something I genuinely find interesting. I take pride in the Feng Cha mascot - it gives me the energy to live on. The atmosphere is lifted with authentic plants, which also shows the franchise's unique taste in decor. 'The Citrus Lord' is by far the best name of a drink I've ever heard. I like to spectate in pure joy as one of the employees struggles on her tiptoes to get ice. The parking lot is literally the smoothest surface I've ever driven on. An inspection form is available upon request. The employees don't threaten you as long as you give a 200% tip.

Cons: I can't go 4 hours without a fixing of cheese milk foam. 'Chrysanthemum Ginger Honey Tea' is too long a name for a drink. Every time I walk in, an employee gives me a dead and cold stare as if to question why I'm even there in the first place. Without fail. When asking what a certain drink tastes like, my question is swiftly answered with the word "wack". Without fail. When ordering a drink, I am occasionally left in despair when an employee playfully says "no". The maximum occupancy is only 49 people.

Disclaimer: MANY OF THE DETAILS ABOVE ARE NOT TRUE. Feng Cha is redefining the world of tea by blending tea’s natural and harmonious spirit and modern and healthy concept, to create a new style of cafe that offers relaxing store atmosphere and healthy food and drinks. Feng Cha features refreshing beverages and delicious pastries and bread that will help kick off and make...

Heard it is a popular Chinese Franchising milk tea shop, so we made a special trip just to try their tea. Drink was just okay. Not very flavorful, can't really taste the tea ingredient.

I ordered their most popular and pretty drink called bursting dragon fruit tea, it looked really pretty, but disappointing, I almost didn't taste any ingredient that they listed on the drink. I also ordered a classic milk tea with Boba just to try out the flavor, but the milk is very light, I like my milk tea very intensive and rich, it didn't deliver the expectations I had about it.

Even though the drinks are bit disappointing, but the service is excellent, after I told me I didn't like the flavor, the manager came immediately and apologized and consulted with me what else I would like to try after I indicate the unsatisfying experience. I really appreciate they value their customers and willing to work things out with me. Just for that i would come back and give it another try.

Feng Cha does have nice ambience, it is also pretty spacious, great place to do some computer work or just for friends to hang out.

Hope I will get a chance to try their other...

atmosphere 8/10 service 5/10 wait time 3-7 mins (good!) i went to feng cha’s richardson location on april 18th friday at 10pm and my only complaint was that my thai milk tea tasted watered down and bitter (even with 100% sweetness added ><). i always feel bad inconveniencing service workers with sending a drink back, but this was one of the few times i felt it was necessary (especially after paying $8 for one drink). i unfortunately was denied right away, even after asking if i could offer to pay the difference in order to exchange it for a crème brûlée dirty boba ($6.75) vs what i had ordered (thai milk tea $5.00). i wasn’t offered a refund; i wasn’t offered a remake; i was simply told that management wouldn’t allow it. as a barista at another location, remakes for unhappy, kind customers is a no brainer and has the easiest answer to a remake: yes! it should be that easy to simply ensure customer satisfaction, and i couldn’t understand why i was denied when i spent almost what i make in one hour on one drink that wasn’t at all satisfactory in taste nor sweetness. on top of that, after leaving, my sibling who i had also got a drink for said her dragonfruit refresher drink also tasted watered down and unpleasant. $14 and a tip, to be told no and remain unhappy with the quality of our drinks. to feng cha management — some unsolicited advice? do better, and be sure to create an environment where people feel they get their money’s worth (because i didn’t </3). x

If one of my friends didn't tell me about this place I probably wouldn't have found this for another couple of months. I'm so glad I'm addicted now! (Pro tip: show your UTD comet card for a 10% discount!) This might be the first place I ask for MORE than 100% sugar. Their drinks aren't overly sweet and it's clear they put their time and effort into making teas with fresh ingredients. The boba are nice and chewy, not overly sweet too. The place is a bit hidden away in the back of a (surprisingly) serine plaza. You may have to park in the back, but it's only a short walk around the building to the main door. I love the decor in this place. It's simple yet elegant, and the high ceilings with the hanging lights help create a warm and welcoming aura. Definitely check this place out if you have the chance. If you've been getting less than 100% sugar at other places, you'll definitely won't have to worry about getting less here.

Just moved to the area and this place is right around the corner where I live. Came in and got the Classic Boba Milk tea (4.25) and the Mango Au Lait (4.50$). The drinks came out fast and it looked great. I love how they design their cup to be very sturdy and possibly reusable. The decor inside also looked great with adorable stuff animals laying around. With that said, the issue for me here are the drink themselves. The tea that they use to make the classic boba milk tea where not very good. I mean it is probably the easiest thing to make and they didn’t get it right. The Mango au lait was way too sweet and just wasn’t that good. So sad. Also, I am curious about the way they make their cup. When you order a large, you get this tall and long cup that made it looked like you are getting a lot but I’m pretty sure that you are being played. Just something to think about.
