Location: The ambiance of this place is so warm & cozy. Shop's located in this small neighborhood plaza with a mini park. Great spot at night with the twinkling lights, only thing missing is a pond.

Affordability: Heck Yes, in this day & age!

What I Ordered...

• Coffee Toffee Crunch: 4 Stars. Not your Vietnamese coffee level, but still a good level of caffeine & toffee crunch. Great flavor to pair with another.

• Lovers' Quarrel: 5 Stars. Strawberry base with Chocolate Sauce & Nutella. Never one to order strawberry ice cream, but the velvet ribbons of Nutella swirled into it completely sold me. Sad to say I didn't mind losing this quarrel. Lol

Overall, lost count how many times I've been here. Always a pleasure every time. Love how there are always new flavors coming in and going. Keeps customer loyalty & excitement.

Sweet Firefly is one of those stops my wife and I always make when we head up to the DFW area. It is a small walk up bar vibe where you can get delicious ice cream. I normally go for a two scoop cup with Toffee Coffee Crunch and something like a Dark Chocolate. My wife loves the Dark Chocolate and usually gets the special. They have drinks, snacks, and delicious ice cream. I mentioned they are a walk up bar type place where you place your order at one window and pick up at another window. We normally sit in the car to enjoy ours since we get it right before heading home. I occasionally stop by the Starbucks that's pretty close as well just so I have something for the ride. They make cones and waffle bowls, but I normally stick to plain bowls. They've had a bee problem in the trash cans lately so those have moved to the common area between all the shops. It doesn't cut down on the amount of bees, but at least you can get away from them.

I was invited here by my friend and her family, which is now my family. Each time I’ve went, I’ve met great people, including one of the owners. Her testimony was breath taking. My heart felt full yet grateful, bitter yet sweet to have realized that their are GREAT people in the world. The owners treat you like family...greetings with a smile of warmth, friendliness to brighten your day. My last visit which was my “birthday ice cream outing”, it was then I realized that I have been adopted by the GREATEST family in the world!!! This confirmation while at Sweet Firefly. This isn’t just an ice cream shop...it’s where family(ies) share funny stories, heart felt moments, and build beautiful memories. I will forever be grateful that I the opportunity to meet the owner and given the chance commend her on the shops atmosphere, professionalism, oh and let’s not forget the GREATEST ice cream/snowballs in Dallas.
