The Wine Authority — Restaurant in Richardson

I had such an amazing experience at The Wine Authority. I was able to rent the space and host Friendsgiving with 20 of my closest friends and it was an EXCELLENT VENUE. The ambiance and shop decor worked well for decorating and didn’t require us to add much. The shop is super spacious and has plenty of seating whether you desire to be together as one large group or separate out for some good side conversations. :) The owners Kyle and Jazz were more than accommodating and such a joy to have around. Did I mention the wine? We were able to get so many variations of good wine to go along with our dinner. I didn’t have one sip that I didn’t enjoy. Kyle is very knowledgeable on each selection and great pairings. My friends and I were feeling gooooooddd and it helps that they also have good music (oh! And the cowboys game was on the big screen). My mom and I have been coming here since day one, and it's honestly become the heart of our weekly routine. We go to the The Wine Authority pretty much every week, and the owner Tom is the NICEST person who just wants everyone to have the best time, make some friends, learn about wines, and discover new wines through tastings. His pricing is great, and the membership is so worth it. The Tuesday tastings are a blast, and Tom really has fun with the bar, making each night a fun experience with different activities.
