We visited Pure Social in Richardson for happy hour after hearing good things and wanted to check it out as a potential venue for our large Dallas based women’s social group which has over 8k members. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing service experiences we’ve had in the area.
We waited over an hour and a half for one pizza, which came out incorrect twice. The fries were cold, the chicken was wrong, and our server was rude, forgetful, and largely avoidant. The female manager on duty was unprofessional and when asked could we get a word with her she told us wait because she could tell it’s gonna be a long drawn out convo she was very dismissive and actually never came back.. while the male manager was friendly but new and unable to resolve any of the issues because when he tried he still got everything wrong. We spent hours just trying to get basic service until the owner finally pulled up and helped. He was able to get things taken care of FINALLY. He was really cool. This experience was very painful.
The most frustrating part is that this place has real potential the music was good, the indoor/outdoor layout is great, and the location is ideal. When the food is made right, it’s actually solid. But the service completely overshadowed any positives.
We were genuinely hoping to love this spot and possibly host one of our upcoming events here, but after this experience, we’ll have to seriously reconsider. We hope to see improvements in the future because the concept is there it just needs...
Read moreI want to love this place so bad, I like the food and love the atmosphere. But … I have been a few times in the last few weeks. Honestly the only time the service was great was my first going which was on my bday 5/1…. After that I have been back but the service has not been great, the servers are extremely slow, they don’t check on you regularly. Specifically on yesterday was the last week straw I won’t be going back for a while until customer service has gotten better. We waited over an hour for I good to come out I ordered wings and dried my wings came out first, I asked about my fries they said they were coming… well a table after us came and got their food + fries I waited another 30 mins for my fries for them to only bring them out cold. I ordered wine waited an hr for a glass of wine only for them to bring it not even half poured talking about that’s all they had left… well I waited damn near over an hr for a drink, never got a water refill or anything. We ended speaking with a manger about our overall experience and they comped our table. Which is nice but it’s the principle. Oh but the kicker the first manager 👩🏾🦱 we asked for came and said “this look like this about to be a long story!” Let me clean this table and I’ll be back… yall think she came back she walked away when the other manager came👨🏻🦰! Read moreFood was great! Drinks were great! Atmosphere is great! The service was below par. We had a a sever named Sofi as printed in the receipt. She was terrible. Her attitude is terrible. She’s very rude. She acted very irritated when we asked her for drinks or napkins. We could hear her mumbling under her breath. We came as a group and stayed almost until close on Saturday night. Towards the end of the night she walked in from the patio and I was behind her going to the bathroom and I overheard her saying she wanted - “refund for the night” and then proceeded to say we were a waste of her time. Me and my friends came to have a good time, we came to spend money, we came to tip for good service. We all had 15% gratuity as stated and posted. That’s fine! But I want the service I’m paying for. My friends and I will tip above gratuity. But for someone to walk around and act like they hate their job or that we were an Inconvenience to her is absurd. As a business owner if she were my employeee she would be fired. She had bad energy and had a very nasty attitude. If she doesn’t like her job or serving she should find a new one.
