I visited during the lunch hour on a weekday. There was plenty of seating available at the community-style tables so I grabbed a stool and someone came over soon after to take my order. They have a large selection of burgers with some far-out toppings - I'm always looking to try new things and I love flavors so I really enjoyed this part. They do have some more traditional burgers for the less adventurous folks out there. My favorite part of the menu is the limited time offers. They have 2 rotating burgers on the menu, both with equally creative ingredients, that go "head-to-head" for which is best ("your order = one vote"). I ordered The Ranch Hand from this section. It comes with a beef patty, fried mashed potatoes with jalapeño gravy, jalapeño bacon, cheddar cheese, and topped with a grilled jalapeño. Like I said, creative! I live for this kind of food. I skipped the fries as from what I saw/heard one order is really about 2 portions. It was a heavy burger so I didn’t really mind but it might be interesting to see some smaller side options. My burger did come with some pickle slices that ended up being a surprisingly good and lighter alternative to a mound of fries. So how was the burger? Really dang good. The patty had a good texture and flavor to it. I’d say it was cooked medium – if they’d asked I would have said medium-rare, but there was some pink so I was happy. The mashed potatoes were topped with cheddar, and were warm with a crispy crust formed on them from being fried. The jalapeño gravy had a great flavor and the consistency of it was appropriate for a burger (i.e. it wasn’t a dripping mess but clung to the burger instead). Jalapeño bacon… ‘nuff said. The grilled jalapeño on top was perfectly tender and I rotated between bites of the burger and the pepper. I was impressed with how well each component was prepared – no cold mashed taters here! The grill is in the same space as the bar and tables so you can watch them prepare the food which is cool. There’s some outdoor seating and garage doors that open the place up that makes me think it’s a good spot for nice weather. From what I understand the patio is also pet friendly which is a big plus! Overall, a really cool place that I’ll find myself visiting again, especially to try the rotating burgers (psst…kudos for keeping them updated on the website).

It’s always a good time at Rodeo Goat! I like that I can seat myself, no awkward waiting in line with buzzers. However it does get pretty crowded at times and it’s hard to find a good seat without looking like it’s your first day of school in the cafeteria 😂 but oh well! The food is totally worth it! My family and I went here (not the first, or last) Saturday evening for dinner. There was one booth available for my family of 4, woo! Our table didn’t seem to be wiped down yet which is whatever, it wasn’t disgusting and I didn’t care. We started off with the sour chips and cheese fries but with queso 😎. It was our first time trying the sour chips, we were told by a waitress that they were made with dill which didn’t seem accurate considering they were most definitely vinegar chips, I didn’t see or taste any dill. If you like sour vinegar chips, these are for you! We asked our waitress if she could swap them out for the “sweet” chips which she did without any hesitation! The queso fries were freakin phenomenal… I highly recommend them 10/10! We placed our drink orders and I ordered the Rattlesnake margarita (I believe that’s the correct name). It was VERY strong and super tart for me. They offered Tajin’ spice on the rim which I love but it didn’t quite go with a sangria margarita in my opinion. Still good and I appreciated it! We place our food order which didn’t take long to come out, I got the Ranch House burger. Let me just say…. It was so flavorful and perfect for me! The bacon and sautéed onion marmalade was to die for! 😍 I added onion and tomato to mine. The service was great as well, very friendly and attentive! The over all vibe of the place is cool. If it hadn’t been chilly we would have preferred outdoor seating! We love the creek view and their outside aesthetic is great. Eat here! You won’t be sorry 🤠🐐

Big restaurant lots of seating great burgers Atmosphere: Cool sporty vibe mixed with hipster. Outside patio is awesome when the weather is nice. Food: STEAMING PILE jalapeño-cheddar tater tots topped with cheddar, chive goat cheese, bacon & a fried egg (sunny-side-up) with a dash of truffle oil / $8.99 Amazing appetizers crunchy tots and bacon the egg elevates this up its a bit on the small side, really for one person but a must get! TOSTADA CHIPS & QUESO homemade and topped with taco meat, guacamole & pico de gallo / $9.49 Great queso flavor and chips were very good, this is a great appetizer to share! Burgers: Every month they have two unique burgers going head to head. $13.99 Peanut Butter Jelly Time Burger Special - Beef, pepper jack cheese, bacon, Blackberry Compote, Fried Plantains and peanut butter. This was just ok for us, i think they forgot the blackberry compote as it was overly peanut butter heavy. This one was a pass for us. SUGAR BURGER candied bacon, grilled peaches, caramelized onions, arugula, jalapeño jam $12.49 DAMN!! this burger was AMAZING, the peaches were fresh and delicious. Mixed in with amazing bacon and the jalapeno jam put it over the top. TOP TIER. Drinks: Plenty of beer choices on tap and in bottles, you can find anything you need here. Price: Right in the sweet spot for a "craft" burger around 13-15 each. The ingredients really elevate the burgers but the price can be steep adding drinks and sides. Parking: big street parking and lot across the street Service: Waiter was good but the place seems understaffed considering the amount of people. We waited about 15 min to order our drinks after being sat at the patio. Food came out in decent time though. A great unique burger spot in Dallas

This place really isn’t what it used to be. I’ve been ordering from here for a year now and the quality has definitely gone down significantly. This place is expensive and requires a long wait time to get your food. If you’re charging as much as you are and making people wait for their food then we expect you to deliver quality results.

The fries aren’t what they used to be. They used to be crisp and savory. They would season them and there would be plenty of salt back then. Now they are mostly over cooked and unseasoned.

Also I ask for NO pickles every time and i GET pickles on my burger every friggin time. Like, it’s a simple request, shouldn’t be hard to follow. I simply dont like pickles, at all. The smell and taste of them ruin the burger for me, I dont want them! They put them on my fries this last time (for some reason…?). Just stop.

Also they used to give you plenty of ranch in the plastic containers. Now they hardly fill them half way, IF THAT. And when you ask for more they look at you like you’re fkng crazy and start glitching. Like just put the ranch in the bag man.

Also, Im pretty sure the burgers got smaller. I cant prove it yet but I used to eat about a half a burger and be pretty satisfied. Now I eat the whole thing along with all the fries and Im still really full but not like before where I could save some until the next day.

Main takeaways i would like the restaurant to put into effect:

If you’re charging $45+ for 2 people (not including drinks, mind you) then you should improve the quality of your fries.

Dont overcook the fries, yet keep them crisp and season them well!!

You should also provide clients with MORE RANCH. Provide us with more cups of ranch and fill those cups more than half way!

Respect customer’s requests, if i say no pickles, then i want NO pickles. Dont hide them underneath my fries, or wrap them in a little paper on the side like i wont be able to find them. Bruh I can smell them to say the least. Think about this; what if someone is allergic to an ingredient…??????? Either way, you’re ruining someone’s meal by not following a very...
