Visiting Pax & Beneficia Coffee in Plano for the second time, I'm once again left thoroughly impressed. My initial encounter with their original location set high expectations with its delicious offerings, and I'm delighted to report that their new Plano branch has faithfully upheld these standards. The ambiance of the place carries the same welcoming vibe, making it a cozy spot for coffee lovers.
This time around, I opted for the Trinity Latte and Sunshine in a Cup. Both drinks were a testament to the skill and care put into every cup served here. The Trinity Latte was a harmonious blend of flavors, striking a perfect balance between the richness of the coffee and the subtle sweetness, which was neither overpowering nor underwhelming. The Sunshine in a Cup lived up to its name, offering a refreshing zest that brightened my day, with its well-measured sweetness and vibrant flavors creating a truly uplifting experience.
The quality of service at Pax & Beneficia remains unmatched. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive, making sure every visit is memorable. Their efficiency and timeliness in preparing orders are commendable, ensuring you're not waiting long for your coffee fix.
In sum, Pax & Beneficia Coffee continues to be a beacon of quality and hospitality. Their dedication to maintaining high standards, even as they expand to new locations, is evident in every cup they serve. The careful crafting of flavors in their beverages ensures that each visit is a delightful experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and to exploring more...
Read moreService was very prompt and my food and drinks were delicious. However, the prices are completely unreasonable for this area of Plano. Nearby coffee shops are charging $5 or $5.50 for 16 oz iced lattes, and pax & beneficia is charging $6.50 for the same thing PLUS $1.00 for syrup. This especially bothered me because I ordered the Spanish latte, and a can of sweetened condensed milk runs for about $2 at Walmart. Spending almost $8 on a latte in Plano, Texas is ridiculous, especially when they don’t have the space for more than 2-3 groups of customers to dine in. Additionally, the to-go cups, lids, and straws are cheap and flimsy, which is very disappointing after spending so much money on a drink. Other high-end cafes, such as La La Land, invest in much sturdier cups and straws, which make the customer justify the price of the drink and return. My cup felt like it was going to fall apart before I even got back in the car. I understand charging this amount at your Dallas locations, but it seems naive to think that your Plano competitors have the same prices and that this is “market rate”. Even though I thought the food and coffee was very good, I cannot justify spending almost $20 for a latte and a breakfast sandwich when I can spend $12 for the same thing at a cafe 5...
Read moreEvery time I visit Plano, this is a must for me. They have delicious lattes with Turkish flairs such as honey, zahr syrup, rose, cardamom, lavender, and orange blossom. The Zahr Latte is a must! It is like a baklava in a cup.
Today, I tried Turkish coffee which is not for the faint of heart. It was surprisingly strong and refreshing, not bitter and gritty like I thought. Since this was my first time having Turkish coffee and the tray I was given was a little daunting, I looked up the appropriate way to drink it. It was divine! My sleepy mind woke up and I felt ready to take on what would come next. I highly recommend this experience!
Today was also my first taste of the food. The ricotta toast with raspberries and blueberries was succulent, fresh, and not too sweet. The other offerings I saw around me looked just as appetizing.
If you need a place to work, study or decompress, this should be the perfect spot. The atmosphere, food and drink truly fit the name of this...
