This is based solely on the experience at the bar for my first time here. We weren't getting any food. This was a Saturday night around 10pm. When we arrived, they were fairly busy and as we were only drinking took the last two seats at the bar. The hostess pointed them out to us. It took 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that my friend and I were sitting in the center area of the bar. Multiple bartenders were working but no one said hello, gave us a menu or even looked at us. People walked by getting drinks, cashing others out on the POS screen, but no one was helping us. They seemed more concerned with filling drink orders for the people at the tables. I've never been to a bar where the bartenders looked down so much and refused to make eye contact with the people sitting at the bar. A female bartender, who still hadn't actually looked at us but was mixing drinks in front of us, asked a male bartender to help us. He finally looked at us and said give me a minute. He never came back. Eventually the female bartender returned and asked for our IDs. Good thing we weren't underage. She didn't say hello or apologize for the wait. After checking our IDs, she asked what we wanted. Well at that point, the only thing that we needed was a menu. If somebody would have just greeted us when we sat down, by the time they were ready to take our order, we would have had time to look at it. I understand that this is a new venue but that's basic in the service industry. As my friend and I were in no big rush, and weren't getting food, if they had simply given us a beer list or menu to start, I would have had no time waiting until they could help us. If someone sits down and there are 5-6 people behind the bar, there's no excuse for waiting 20 minutes to be carded, greeted, or otherwise acknowledged. By now, you should have some of these kinks worked out. They also need to realize that just because someone isn't sitting at a table and ordering food, that they are also a paying customer. That being said, the beer I eventually received was good. There's a decent selection but I was expecting more and our bartender didn't seem to be very knowledgeable on the beer. Once we were finally served, she was attentative the rest of our visit. The remodel is very nice and I was impressed with how different the inside looks. Bottom line, regardless of the food or beer, customer service is a huge factor in any patrons visit. Based on my first experience here, I won't be returning and don't really have anything good to say about it.
