My husband was excited to try this place so we went. A family of five, 2 adults and 3 kids 12 and under. It’s been about a month and half since then and I still can’t believe I didn’t complain because it was the worst experience we’ve had in a great while. This includes service, food and quality of food for the price. We paid $150 for our meal and I regret it so much. We could have ate at a sit down upscale restaurant for better food and a good experience!
The service was sub par. They said hi and walked us to our table. We had two tables near us and they kept visiting those as they seemed like regulars. They took a bit to come back to us. No water refills because they never checked in. We had to call them over to request it.
My husband got the acapulco steak which is steak with shrimp and broccoli and other veggies. The shrimp/steak platter was mostly brocolli and carrots. His plate cost 39.95. Plus his drink, a beer. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp. I got 6 shrimp. $24.95.
My son ordered 3 tacos with rice and beans. He said he wanted asada instead of the ground beef and they said it would be an extra. Definitely ask. Each taco was an additional 4.50! This is the part that upset me besides the fact that the food was not great! It seems as they season it all the same way and they definitely overcharged me. A single street taco is 4.50 so instead of an additional charge I paid for my plate plus 3 street tacos. $30 meal but I didn’t get the other 3 tacos I was charged for. $30 is ridiculous for 3 asada tacos with rice and beans. Plus there was very little meat to justify $15 extra charge!! Original priced at 14.95.
My other son ordered a chicken Burrito off the regular menu and lemonade 15.95 and 3.95
My daughter ordered the kids meal and ate most of it. We had no problems with her meal and it was decently priced. I should have tried the kids meal.
Don’t go here. If you want actual Mexican food go eat tacos at Pinche Botanas down the street! Those are...
Read moreI want to start off by saying I rarely write reviews because i understand everyone has bad days but we sat down to eat there Saturday April 5th and from the start it was one of the worst dine experiences we have ever had. My youngest daughter who is 5 spilled some water while the waiter was taking our order and he just stood there as we scrambled to unroll the silverware to clean it up and didn’t even offer to get us napkins the lady whom I assume was in charge finally ran over and brought us napkins. The server was not friendly and i doubt he is how the owners want to be represented there at that establishment. Then there is the food. I love Mexican food and I grew up eating authentic good Mexican food. The rice was inedible and mushy. My wife ordered a shrimp cocktail and cilantro was not washed and this morning she is sicker than a dog! The serviced coupled with the quality of food is probably the worst dining outing we have ever experienced! I would not recommend eating here save your money there are plenty of other great Mexican food places here in the tri cities! Lastly I want to reemphasize I do not take writing reviews lightly good or bad I rarely leave them! Do...
Read moreMy husband and I try Mexican restaurants in what I would call a fair way. When we are new to a restaurant we always order the same meal. That is a Seafood Chimichunga. We also ask for bean dip with the chips that are served. This day we were greeted at the door with the host holding the door open for my husband who was using his walker and myself. We ask for a table and he leads us to a wonderful spot. The waitress is there within seconds with the best crispy tortilla chips nice, fresh, and super warm. We ask for bean dip and it is brought immediately. We look at the menu but before she can retreat we tell her we both want their Seafood Chimichunga. We also each order a Pacifica draft which are brought to our tables promptly in nice frosty glasses. The meal comes in a timely manner and we both proceed to eat. I do not say this lightly, but it is absolutely the best we have ever eaten. We have traveled through the continental United States, but no Mexican restaurant we have ever been in compares with E Agave in Richland. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional. We live about a mile away and it is now our go to spot for a Mexican...
