This is absolute a horrible restaurant! Do not eat here. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced, not just at a restaurant, but at any walk in facility. I visited on Wednesday 7/28. When I walked in, the white lady gave the customer in front of me their food and walked away to the back. I stood there for five minutes. Then, I walked up to the counter and said, "When can I place my order". The black lady said, "Just wait your turn". Then, the white lady walked up and said, "You haven't been here even one minute, what are you complaining about". I was real hungry, so I ordered my food and took it home to eat. I had purchased a senior coffee at this restaurant and sat outside to chat with the other patrons a couple of times. It was my first time to order food. Again tonight, I was hungry so I stopped by this restaurant to see if maybe the customer service would be a little better. Nope. The same black lady greeted me with, "I'll be there when I get there". I said nothing. she repeated, "I'll be there when I get there". I said that is the rudest thing I have ever heard in my life. she said, "It's the truth what do you want me to say". I said, "If that is your idea of a customer service greeting, then i don't need to even think about eating here. I walked out. There is another McDonald's at 6850 Forest Hill Avenue, 3 miles north of this POS location. I have eaten there several times and the customer service was great. I live less than two miles from this POS restaurant at 9006 Huguenot Road. But, I assure you, I will NEVER go to this dump again. It's not racial. Black white or otherwise, you've got an entire work force of bad attitudes. McDonald's is not healthy food, but I don't mind the risk every now and then. McDonalds' coffee is tasty. My son and i fight about which is better? Starbucks, Duncan Donuts or McD. I don't care anymore. I enjoyed chatting with my neighbors drinking coffee, but I'm not going to endure this type of BS CS ever from anywhere for any reason. Proceed to this place at your own risk; you have...
Read moreHorrible drive thru server! My sons just went and ordered two specialty burgers (one no onion, one no pickles) they both came out with pickles no onions. The paper ticket on the burger was printed correctly but the actual burger was wrong. That's not a big deal, we both work in fast food and sometimes you get into a rhythm of making things and kinda go on auto pilot. The big deal came when they told the lady who gave them the food at the drive thru window that it was supposed to be no pickles with onions and handed her the burger. She looked at the ticket and said it was right. They tried to explain to her for like 5 minutes, the paper is correct, the actual burger is wrong and she kept arguing with them saying it was right. All she had to do is open the burger and look and she would've seen what the issue was. It took another employee to come and get the situation worked out and make the burger correctly. Meanwhile, dinner is served stone cold because the rest of the food is sitting out waiting for the order to be corrected! It wasn't busy it was 9 something at night, there was no reason for an order to take that long to be corrected. What I don't get is why didn't she just open the burger and she could see that what was wrote on the ticket was NOT what was on the burger. She just kept arguing that it was right. Sorry, we aren't eating the paper we are eating the burger which was WRONG! If I'd been there, I would've had them refund the order and go elsewhere. If I were in charge, I would've, at the very least, offered to replace the now stone cold fries with fresh ones because it was their mistake. Ridiculous! and yes I would LOVE for someone from McDonald's to follow up with this because this is...
Read moreI visit this location specifically after issues with a different location constantly making our orders wrong. For a long time I was very happy with this new location! My orders were being made correctly and everything was wrapped correctly, and I was so pleased! But for months now, it seems there is always at least 1 thing made wrong or missing. When I go inside to let them know, I never get an apology or see any concern. They ask what's wrong with the order, quickly take it and tell the workers to remake it. They keep their back to me and I feel like I am being an inconvenience to them. There was even an occassion where the worker said they didnt make it wrong and knew that put a topping on it when it was very clearly not on the sandwich. I am the one having to take time to check my order before I leave, then take it inside, then wait for the item to be remade which oftentimes (like tonight) takes 20-30 mins! Then I get a have a good night. I am so frustrated with placing an order that is very clear and my order not being made correctly and being treated as an inconvenience. A simple apology and acknowledgement that the order was made incorrectly would go such a long way. There is 1 manager at that location (not sure of his name) that is very pleasant and shows genuine care towards the customer. When he is working there is never an issue with my orders. Look, I know this is fast food, and I am not expecting 5 star quality, but I can't wrap my head around why it seems to be so difficult to make an order correctly. I have a job too, and spend my hard earned money a few times a month on fast food (usually McDonald's) and it shouldn't be too much to ask that a sandwich be...
