McDonald's — Restaurant in Richmond

I recently stopped at the drive thru at the Mcdonald's location 2011 Chamberlayne Ave Richmond Va. I asked could I have a medium hot fry and large sweet tea, immediately the young lady employee taking my order replied, "We don't have any hot fries, all our fries our cold", I stated , "Are you kidding me", she repeated again, " We don't have hot fries all our fries are cold". I then asked, "Well do you have any fries that are warm", she stated again that all they serve are cold fries and then stated they they do not have any sweet tea and stated that you guys do not ever have sweet tea and she replied, " If you don't like it, then don't come here anymore. I pulled around to the pay window and I stated to the lady employee taking the order that I could not believe how she was talking to me, She was laughing loudly and repeatedly kept saying, "Oh I was just playing". I asked to speak to a manager and a guy came to the window and I told him about this incident with this employee. He stated, "Oh man she was just playing" and I stated, "and you don't even care, this is a business". He then stated to me "I told you that she was just playing so what do you want to do with this order, are you going to pay for it" I told him that I didn't want it now because of the disrespect, insults, humiliation, non professionalism, and lack of the the very poorest of customer service. The bathroom stalls were disgusting, urine all over the toilet seats. One of the toilets had toilet paper with urine all over it... So they protected themselves from sitting on a nasty toilet seat but ensured that it was left even worse for the next customer? Classy.

The burgers that we ordered seemed to have had a whole bottle of ketchup and mustard on them. It was pouring out of all sides of the sandwiches, making an awful mess, dripping down my arms. I think they thought I had asked for two McCondiment sandwiches. A little goes a long way- I'm sure there is a guideline to how much condiment is to be applied to each sandwich. The fries were good.

The cashier seemed annoyed as though we were an inconvenience though we were the only ones waiting in line at the cash register. The order took about 10 minutes though we only ordered two McDoubles and two small fries. All of the drive thru orders were flying out quickly it seemed.

It's difficult to leave or enter the building without being asked for money by random people in the parking lot. One even followed us to the car and stood at the window. I'm all for helping out and buying a homeless person some food but it's the same, "My car broke down and I need money for gas," story you get from these folks. There must be a shocking number of broken down cars in that parking lot... funny, I didn't see any.

I truly wish i could give this place 0 stars. I visited the drive-thru around 5am for their breakfast menu. Literally, I was the only customer. As i waited outside the #2 window, as instructed. An employee took my card and i kid you not, i did not receive my card back until 5-7 mins afterwards. That alone was very strange; I have never experienced that. The employee then returns back with my card and receipt and instructs me to pull my car over to the side. "Why do I have to go to the side when I am literally the only customer and I have already waited 7 mins?" I asked. The employee replied with "You will run up our drive thru time and that is not good for the company." Is it my fault that my food is taking too long to prepare and serve? I simply said okay and did as i was told. 15 mins go by and at this point I am heated. I calmly walk inside the establishment and ask what is going on. I have paid for my food yet have not received it within 20 mins. Turns out the employee that took my order, and charged my card completely forgot to prepare and deliver my food. What type of ** is that? Honestly. Instead of a receiving an apology of any sort, my food is delivered to me with a chuckle and smirk on the employees face. "My bad." He says.
