Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Richmond

This is the closest Popeyes outlet to my home, so I visit this outlet pretty regularly (~ every 2-3 weeks) despite the poor reviews. I usually order wings and there's not much that can go wrong in that - except that they never give the extra signature hot sauce that I pay for (I have to check everytime and ask for it when it's missing).

That said, today was the day I just had to give this review. We had places an order for a sandwich and 12-piece wings online for pickup, but when I arrived there at 10 pm, the doors were locked from inside for some reason and only drive-thrus were being accepted (@manager - any idea why?).

Anyway, when I went through the drive-thru, the lady with the mic asked me to wait at the parking spot and said that she'll bring the order outside. I waited for 15 minutes, and drove back through the drive thru (after no one came to us), only to learn that they are out of wings. Noone came to inform me while I sat in my car hungry, waiting like an idiot, and I have no idea why I wasn't informed in the first place itself. And then she has the audacity to tell me to wait again in the parking lot for the sandwich (which I refused to, upon which she handed me a cold sandwich). Also, the lady had the most disinterested response you can have - I wish I had noted her name.

To the manager - please work towards fixing these issues (this doesn't seem to be a one-off thing, as you can say from the reviews). Your horrible workers are keeping you from achieving the true potential of serving good food at such a...

Every time I have come to this new location on Broad st, I have either been missing food from my order, or got home to realize my red beans and rice container was only half full. One time it was actually just all rice. Today I however noticed something that gave my cause for concern. I picked up my takeout order and decided to check it while in the parking lot before leaving the location, and yet again my large redbeans and rice container was only half full, so I went back in to ask for a container the was fill correctly, and she took the one I had and placed it back on the production line under the heat lamps and filled me a new one. Good for me, yes. But the one I had taken outside the location was going to be resold to someone else! That should NEVER happen! Food should never be taken back once it's left the location. it's a safety violation! I will never be eating at this...

There was only one person in the store that was interested in my being there as a customer,and that was the young lady that took the order,the rest of the staff was lazy. The food was greasy with no n flavor,they had no butter,according to the young man that worked the there,the other young lady that took my order actually went and looked and came back with melted butter which was nice. My daughter asked for Splenda, and the young man said they had it,but didn't bother ti get up and go look for any,he continued to sit on the bench by the counter and play on his cellphone.
