I'm suprised I haven't reviewed this place sooner because before COVID I went here all the time. I've also been reacquainted with them this spring/summer. I grew up in an area that had a lot of establishments serving Filipino cuisine so when I found Wing Command I was overly excited. Anytime I'm craving lumpia I head there. More recently I've been indulging in the chicken lumpia and it's always served hot (try it with the fish sauce. The lechon kwali is also a huge fave of my boyfriend and I (it's the perfect ratio of crisp and fat but wouldn't recommend if you're dieting lol). They also have great wings (duh), the hot garlic is my favorite sauce. I even tried their boneless wings most recently and wasn't disappointed. The establishment is a bar but it is spacious to where I've never been seated next to another party when I dine in.
Cons: -Their hours can vary -It's sometimes easier to dine in or place a to go order in person if they're busy -The crowd size and type can vary if there's events going on (football games, fight nights, karoake, bands, etc). I'd recommend double checking for events that may be going on if you're hoping for a quiet meal or experience
Pros: -All of the servers I've experienced here have been great. We had Ellie this past weekend and she was super sweet and did a great job for it only being her 3rd week working there -Happy Hour (used to be til 8pm but now it's til 7pm) -Great food & great...
Read moreThis is a long overdue update to my old review which was for their old location. I don't like the new place. Congrats to them for getting a bigger joint but I feel the quality of the wings have suffered. I've been there a few times and the service is slow and they always seem to be out of some their more unique sauces that would be worth a try. I really liked the old style of the sauce menu, it made sense. The list now is just hard to figure out what's spicy and what's not. What's sweet, what's tangy, ect...
And most importantly, the wings are now TINY. Just not worth the effort. The service is always slow and I don't go when it's packed in there. I can't imagine it on a big night. You'd starve to death before the game was over.
And no salads??? Ya, I know, salads at bar. Why would I want that? Well, you have lettuce and carrots, and wtvr else back there to make a salad. Even dressing, you serve it with the wings! This isn't hard.
For a sports bar, maybe it's ok. For philipino food it's maybe one of 2 places in town you can go. But for wings? Pass! You can find better stuff...

Let me save you time, money, and energy. Do not waste your time driving up here like we did. The Wing Commander Restaurant/Bar that serves Pilipino Food is NOT THIS! This is not a sit down restaurant, it is literally a TAKE OUT ONLY! It is a kitchen “hub” for multiple different “to go” “restaurant.”
FOOD: We ordered the classic Pork Sinigang (with rice), and fried Pork Belly. The Pork Belly is “Makunat” and the Sinigang is not satisfying at all, it tastes like the spices left the chat.
The Pilipino Pork BBQ on a stick is literally just a grilled pork on a stick with American BBQ sauce dumped on it, after it was cooked.
The Chicken Wings tastes like it was fried in the same cooking oil as FISH. We could taste the fishy flavor.
Price: Overpriced!
SERVICE: Service is slower than slow, (It took 1:52 minutes from the time we ordered, until the food was ready), the young lady at the front desks is very apologetic, she said, there’s only ONE cook at the back.
If you looking for a fun family dinner together, this is NOT it. The food will disappoint...
