Red Harbor Seafood N' Chicken — Restaurant in Richmond

Stopped here on my birthday after googling "seafood near me" while visiting richmond. I'm from fredericksburg, so I was very excited to indulge in what the capital has to offer. I was not dissapointed. I had arrived about an hour before closing. This establishment is at the end of a strip mall in the more interesting side of richmond. I had seen that the sign read "florida style seafood" . I wanted a more DMV style seafood establishment, but I was already here. When I entered, I was promptly greeted. Due to covid-19, the interior was rather barebones: no seating and a homemade lemonade stand. I was very excited to be here. This is exactly what you look for when ordering seafood from a hole-in-the-wall. Their trays were displayed in a cooler and that gave a very good visual representation of what you got when you paid. I got chicken tenders, clams, and shrimp , and sides . My shorty got crabs and shrimp and sides. My card was declined because I forgot to transfer my stock money and the staff were extremely patient and understanding. We were pleased with the customer service and the food. Very impressed. When talking with the cashier I was informed it was their first week of business, and I am proud to say that their kitchen is immaculate. The food is good, and they aim to please. If you go there looking for good food, you get good food.. out of towner's beware: leaving the parking lot someone was claiming I owe them money (I'm from a town 36 mins north) , see through these people and DO NOT give them the time of day. Go about your moves never get tangled up with people like that down in Richmond 💯. Overall 10/10 :. Awesome food wonderful...

Well.. it looks like the trap. Cool. I mean, I guess. I think they use the same oil and batter for everything. Seafood and chicken. Not cool. Idk.. I've only tried the fried chicken wings, and I didn't like how they were flavored. Listen, I HATE that batter. The texture is confusing, and it's missing seasoning. But without the batter, their meat is FLAVOURLESS!! So regardless , it's a biiigggg no for me. The wings were really my boyfriend's. HE just suggested I try them. I ordered the crab cakes, with fries that day. No fresh crab in sight. Just imperial. The outside was was fried hard. The inside resembles a egg roll, I guess you could say. Maybe it's Mediterranean? Idk. Doesn't taste, smell, or look like like a crab cake. But I'm from MD, so maybe it's different here 🤷🏾‍♀️. Who knows? But again, it's a no for me. Today I said, well let me try the fish. (I give people chances) Everyone isn't good at everything, so even though the chicken and crab cakes weren't to my liking, doesn't mean I wouldn't like the fish. So I had my boyfriend order me a three-piece whiting meal with fries. The video that you see is the meal that I am speaking of. That video was taken after I had taken a bite or two of the fish. The first initial bite that I had taken, I had added tartar sauce to. I don't like the tartar sauce. I retried a piece of fish without sauce and I liked it a little better. So I can't say that the fish is awful, but I can say I will not be getting it again. I'll stick to Sugar shack down the street.

Customer service .. blah Desserts.. I can't lie, the red velvet hit fr. Pink Lemonade.. CRAZY,🥰

Omggg thee best everything me and the family went there one day just to see what it was like after leaving the phone place near it!! Hubby got me and the kids chicken wings and fries and omgg they were thee best wings I have had honestly EVER!!! He ordered himself some gizzards and I tried one and well it ended up being like 3 or 4 eaten off his plate lol but they were sooo good!! Of course we went back like a week later and we me and kids ordered chicken wings and fries again and we added some jumbo shrimp to the bunch this time lol hubby wanted gizzards again but they were sold out 🥺 so he tried the fish (whitening) of course once again I had to try his fish everything was just perfectly seasoned the cashier was super nice and funny!!! We just love love the place awesome service!!!...
