I always loved Subway. That night, I had a turkey sandwich, and it was great. I have tried the jalapeno chips, which was something new for me, and they are delicious. I also like their breakfast sandwiches. UPDATE:. April 9, 2022-I ordered the Baja Chicken Bacon Sandwich, and it was great! Just so you know, the lobby is closed for remodeling. UPDATE:. October 6, 2022-The lobby is now open. They have new sandwiches, and I tried the Champ, with rotisserie chicken. It is delicious, and a winner! UPDATE:. January 21, 2023-I ordered the Black Forest Ham sandwich, Baked Lay's chips, and Diet Coke. All of it was delicious. When I went to pick up my order, no one was in the dining room. They need to get their business up. UPDATE: June 17, 2023-It has been a while since I had Subway. I decided tonight to order it again. I ordered on the app the Rotisserie Style Chicken Sandwich, Bayed Lay's Chips, and Diet Coke. It was all delicious. They are still having the problem of no one in the dining room. UPDATE: September 17, 2023- I ordered from the app on the 13th, and ordered the new Titan Turkey Sandwich, Jalapeno Chips, and Diet Coke. The app changed the rewards program. The last time I ordered from a Subway, I earned a $2 coupon. Because of the change in the rewards program, my coupon was converted to points. I wasn't happy about that, but that is beyond the restaurant 's control. The sandwich was not as big as I thought, but it was still good. They still have the problem of no customers inside. UPDATE: October 23, 2023-Last Thursday, I ordered from the app, and ordered one of their new sandwiches, the Philly. The Philly is a Philly steak and cheese sandwich, and it was delicious. I made it a combo with Jalapeno Chips and Diet Coke. They had a little more customers in there this time, but it was not completely full. UPDATE: January 1, 2024-For New Year's, I used a $10 gift card that I was given at work and ordered a Chicken Onion Teriyaki sandwich, Lay's Baked BBQ Chips, and a Diet Coke. The sandwich was delicious, but a little messy. Whether I order it again remains to be seen. It wasn't horrible or anything, and it was delicious. I still had a little left on the gift card. UPDATE: January 9, 2024-I finished my gift card, and I ordered an Oven Roasted Turkey Sandwich, Baked Lay's Chips, Diet Coke, and a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie. The cookie was a free reward that was about to expire. It was delicious. Everything about the meal was great. That gift card was well worth it. UPDATE: April 25, 2024-I had a birthday reward for a free cookie, so I ordered a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie. I also ordered a 6 in Mexicali Sandwich, Baked Lay's Chips, and a Diet Coke. A MexiCali Sandwich is on Artisan Italian bread, with chicken, pepper jack cheese, peppers, avocado, and chipotle sauce. It is delicious, and so was the whole meal. UPDATE: July 2, 2024-I tried their 6 in Nacho Chicken Sandwich, along with Baked Lay's Chips, and a Diet Coke. The sandwich was different and delicious. It was a little spicy, but still good. It was a different kind of chicken sandwich, and I am always willing to try new things. UPDATE: September 17, 2024-I decided to try their 6 in Home style Chicken Salad Sandwich, Baked Lay's Chips, and a Diet Coke. Absolutely delicious! It is well worth having. It reminded me of something somebody else is having. UPDATE: September 26, 2024-I ordered the 6 in Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich, Baked Lay's Chips, and a Diet Coke. It was great and delicious! I was going to order this the day before, but something was wrong with the app, and the order didn't go through. This time, I had no problems. UPDATE: January 4, 2025-I ordered the 6 in Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Baked Lay's Chips, and Pepsi Zero. The sandwich was absolutely delicious, but I am angry about my drink. I got home and found I couldn't get my bottle open. I ended up drinking one of my Coke Zeros. I let them know about this. I will go back to them and make them...
Read moreIf I want to go to subway, I guess I will have to go out of town. Spoke with the owner about issues I was having with the west side of town. Live on the west side of town and drove all the way to the east side of town to avoid messed up orders. the last two times they’ve messed my order up on the east side of town. Went there again tonight and they missed half of my order. Drive all the way back to the east side of town only to find out that the item that I requested is not available. I asked for a refund and they refunded me less than what I originally paid. When I told the girl that she refunded me less that what I paid and the one girl who was being pretty nice, was trying to correct things when Elizabeth Gomez commented that there was no need for me to act the way and that’s what the computer told her to refund. Elizabeth told me that if I kept getting messed up orders that I should just stop coming to Subway all together. She was not involved in the transaction and the girl was helping me so she had no business don’t even open her mouth. I was being very calm and helping the girl try to figure out how much of a refund that I was due when Elizabeth decided to share her feelings about me . Not that I had to, but I explained to Elizabeth that several times my order was messed up, which is why I was upset but it continues to happen. She continued to go on and on and tell me that I should just stop eating at Subway all together. The manager, Mathew Oler came out and had no clue what was going on but was more interested in the fact that there was an upset customer because he was walking around the lobby before I came back in. I was leaving after I receive my proper refund and the manager told me to leave the building. I was walking out of the building as he opened his mouth. I think these young kids just wanted to show their selves. I know working in the food industry is hard and working with the public is a challenge because I do it. I’m paying for a service and if you screw it up, then you should accept accountability and not blame the customer. What are ever happened to the customer is always right? I had a reason to be upset and didn’t need an attitude from a young kid. They won’t have to worry about me ever coming back into any of the Richmond locations again the owner is aware, but...
Read moreI have ordered from this location about once a month for the past year. Besides seeing new faces everytime i walk in, they have always produced expected product. The time before this we seen the writing on the wall, attention to detail was slipping. The produce and meat just looked sloppy. I gave them one last shot today. The vegtables looked like they threw it against the wall to "cut it", and then left in a fridge for a week. I could tell old has been placed on new multiple times by the slime in the tubs. Whats worse, is when i get home the bread is straight dough on the inside. So i called and got met with excuses, no biggie propably first job and dont know how to handle adversity yet. She says all our bread is cooked to time. Then it all came together, i seen them leaving the oven open on cool down cycle and not letting it rest properly, i mean i think thats it if they are supposidly cooking it to the right time. All in all, either the oven is broke, its not cooked to time, or leaving the oven open early is the cause of this. If the attention to detail is there, the person cutting the bread and smashing it flat should have seen the state of the bread and fixed the issue or offered different alternatives. To put the cherry on the top, corprate has added a tip option for this service rendered, but thats a whole nother hole to fall into. Anyways, here is a picture of the dough, er...
