Tacos Las Palmas — Restaurant in Richmond

There’s a lady in particular who is very disrespectful. She said me and my cousin couldn’t be around the food truck unless we bought something. So I proceed to buy some drinks and sat down at one of the tables, which by the way are never clean. They only clean them at the beginning of the day and leave them outside chained to a post. We were costumers and she then later proceeded to tell us that we need to leave and stop enticing their customers, whatever that means. The point is the food is mediocre and the prices are a steep for the quality you’re getting. The service is just a infuriating. Keep in mind I’ve lived in the area for 12 years and have see 5 different food trucks come and go where Tacos Las Palmas is and they are not that good to say the least. Gone downhill👎🙁and prices way up😟 Shame, I loved this place in 2020. Moved away and now back I’m blown away at $18 for 3 birrias!🫣😱 There is no way a taco truck in Richmond should be charging that amount for some tortillas, way too dry meat, and a (delicious) small jus.

The enchiladas are so disappointing, look NOTHING like their advertised pics, the sauce is more bland than the runny beans🤦🏼‍♀️ Their carnitas meat is dry and stringy and been sitting in the heater way too long versus juicy and flavorful as they used to be.

I used to eat here many times a week, now it’s just when I’m desperate. There used to be a lively crowd around the place with many eating here, now it’s usually just me or one other.

Forcing me to discover other taco trucks and Mexican joints...

Really enjoyed what I'd ordered. I do not recall the name of the meal, but they used stew meat and placed it inside 3 fried tortillas with cheese, and with that I had refried beans, rice and a regular sized drink of Jicama. So technically I ordered a meal. Once all added up I will say It was a bit pricey.
