Seafood Wednesday is by far my favorite day. I am obsessed with the shrimp bisque. The Mac and cheese balls are one of the best things you will ever have if you are a fan of Mac and cheese. MK Valencia also has a late night menu that has the BEST sandwiches. But the true magic lies in the details. The attentive and knowledgeable staff anticipate your every need, making you feel like a VIP. The signature cocktails are all amazing. Every single drink is perfectly crafted. And the dessert menu is a decadent finale, tempting you with sweet delights that are as beautiful as they are delicious. MK Valencia is more than just a place to eat; it's a destination. This place is an excellent spot. Whether it is for a quick drink, brunch, night out with friends, date night, or a birthday/reunion/event, MK Valencia will win your heart. It has ambiance with a small town welcoming feel. With multiple entrances, you can either enter the larger, yet intimate dining area (left entrance) or you can enter for a bar style area with a family friendly feel (right entrance). Both have plenty of seating at the bar with average sized TVs to watch whatever sports may be on, but not enough to keep from having the sports bar feel. My most recent visit was for a family function. We were a party of 40 or so and were using the smaller side of MK Valencia but it seemed like we had more than enough room to move around and hang out. Krista was our point of contact and she was incredible! Every step of the way, she was there from recommendations for appetizers to what to serve for our buffet-style dinner. I personally recommend having the angus beef sliders and the chicken empanadas. The staff she were punctual with passing around some appetizers to clearing dishes and bottles once we were done. We had a lovely family meal for 20 after a courthouse wedding that was perfect in every way. M.K.Valencia staff was amazing from initial inquiry to the last minute of the event.. Every single thing was perfect, but what's more, the kindness and care of staff was beyond expectations. The restaurant manager was highly responsive, detail minded and a great listener, answering every single question without hesitation. Our event-day waiter, was attentive to everyone from ages 1-85 and he served with dignity, compassion and the utmost professionalism. Cake drop off midday went smoothly, the food was bountiful and delicious. My daughter and her husband were thrilled. Everyone was impressed with the food, the venue and the positive vibe! An added plus is that prices are readily available on the website so you can figure out affordability eith no upselling pressure. So many places are vague on their websites and force you to have a conversation to find out the bottom line.
