⭐ I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share what happened. I live with a medical condition—urinary incontinence—and while walking past this restaurant, I urgently needed to use the bathroom. I went in and quietly asked the woman behind the counter (the owner) if I could please use the restroom. I explained it was a medical emergency.
She refused and snapped that the restroom was for customers only. I told her I was already starting to have an accident and pleaded with her to reconsider. Instead of showing any compassion, she shouted at me to leave and to “go to Dunkin Donuts.” She then turned her back on me and walked into the kitchen.
I tried to make it across the street, but it was too late—I had already urinated on myself.
After cleaning up, I returned—not to argue, but to let her know how deeply hurtful and humiliating her response had been. She yelled at me again to shut up and get out. I calmly told her that kindness costs nothing and that no one deserves to be treated like that, especially in a moment of real vulnerability.
She repeatedly told me to “shut up” and “get out.” It was beyond rude—it was cruel.
This wasn’t about a policy. It was about basic human decency. If you care about how people are treated—not just as customers but as people—please think twice before supporting a business that shows such disregard for compassion...
Read moreThis is the second time coming to the Food Lab as a big group of 4, and ordering the combo platter for 4. We are 4 hungry people and we still couldn't eat all of it. We had to order a to-go box for what remained! You get so many sliders, ribs, fries, and wings, in addition to drinks. All of the items on the platter were delicious and well done, and you can mix it up (i.e., we got half our wings boneless and half with bones, and you can choose the flavor too). You can't beat how amazing the food was for the price - well worth it.
Even more so, the quality of customer service is superb here. Both times we have been here, we have been offered extra sauces, checked on frequently, etc. You feel well taken care of and that they really want to make sure you are happy and good.
There's always parking nearby and the atmosphere is great. We definitely have to come more...
Read moreI was a little worried walking in. It was 4:30pm on a Saturday and there were no other patrons, but we decided to give it a chance. It was well worth it.
The pork dumplings were crispy fried but not oily. I also had the shrimp and vegetable tempura and a side of rice. The tempura was also very crispy and golden, every bite was delicious.
My partner had the spicy beef ramen, which he said was one of the best he'd ever had. He gave me a taste but one of the servers insisted on bringing me a small bowl so I could share. The beef was tender, the broth was both spicy and sweet, and the noodles were springy and had just the right amount of chew.
The server was somewhat concerned about the level of spice, but we are very used to spicy foods, and the level of heat was pleasant.
We will be returning and...
