I visited this store 30 minutes after 11 on a late Saturday night. I decided to order a BBQ quesadilla with salt, bacon, and extra cheese. I made the order a special order and waited for her to call my number to see what my request was. The woman in the deli never called it to see what my special order was and after I realized that she had started making it and either didn’t know what a special order was, or was just going to ignore it so I asked her if she was working on 312, which was my number, she said yes and I politely asked her to drain the chicken before she put it on my quesadilla. After I paid and went to pick up my order, the quesadilla box had barbecue sauce on the side and top smeared. I bought other items with this that came in to go Wawa bags and every bag had grease or residue left on it was absolutely disgusting and I wished I would’ve have asked her to change her gloves prior to making my order because it was obvious she hadn’t changed them for a while. Inside the box, there was a piece of bacon that wasn’t even in the quesadilla. After holding the box for five or so minutes, the bottom of the box became somewhat soggy because she had obviously not drained the chicken steak when she had put it on my tortilla. She had either not drained it at all, or she just simply couldn’t of known or cared when I asked her to specifically. The barbecue sauce was only spread on one portion and there was no salt on it at all. I would tell you this woman’s name but she was wearing no name tag at all and she also had on a siptopia shirt, even though it’s hoagiefest and siptopia has be over for quite some time. She had blonde hair and I couldn’t tell whether she had just been trained in this area of the store or she just didn’t care about the kind of food or service she was giving people. If she had been training, the manager there that night, Julian, should’ve been supervising her while she was making orders. I love going to this Wawa but there are just some people that work there that aren’t good for your stores reputation. And I hope you resolve these problems before I stop buying from this...
Read morePicture it. It’s Saturday morning. The place is crazy busy and the breakfast sandwiches in the heated cases are down to a few options. I’m not supposed to have sausage and bacon while pregnant. Bummed, I go to the self-service screen to order a breakfast sandwich but I can’t order a simple Egg and cheese on a a biscuit, English muffin or croissant. Instead, the only option is a breakfast sandwich on bread slices. I can have that at home. I’m pregnant and I’m looking for a wee little treat. I asked the fella making the sandwiches: would there be any egg and cheese on biscuit coming out. He said no, but he offered to make one just for me. And just like that, a pregnant woman’s spirits have been lifted! This fella just absolutely made my day! And he was so kind about it. In fact, the whole staff is really kind. This is my favorite Wawa. Corporate Wawa, two requests: 1) please give the folks on this shift a raise, especially this guy, and 2) please improve the egg and cheese options available in the self-service menus to include a “treat” bread like biscuits...
Read moreIt’s not the food atmosphere or the service that I’m complaining about it’s your gas prices. I thought Wawa had the lowest gas prices in Delaware County, but I was wrong. There’s a store around the corner called liberty for gas. Prices are lower than your horse. You guys are ripping customers off, but your price gouging and don’t tell me your cost gone up. It used to be the cheapest in Delaware County now you’re not I will never go to another Wawa as long as I live to get my gas . I’d rather travel somewhere else to get my gas no more Wawa does not sell...
