The ropa vieja is delicious and the Pegao (the crunchy rice that sticks to the bottom of the pot), a typical Cuban and Puertorican delight, is a fun, nostalgic addition to the menu. I had the pleasure of visiting Babalu Rincon this past weekend and the food was amazing. I’m a picky eater and have certain food allergies. The “arroz con gandules” paired with the shrimp was a hit.
