RE: negative reviews - Gordon/ Susan Shay are out of their minds (as are the other older low reviews).

If the menu doesn’t have prices & you’re being price conscious, ask before you order… why does that need to be explained to anyone?

The fish is caught fresh, some of the ingredients in their tacos can be expensive for them to source, and quite frankly, these are some of, if not THE best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Of course the food isn’t cheap, quality food isn’t cheap.

There’s hardly ever a wait, & if there is take a look around & do some beyond surface level thinking about how you would suggest you would crank that much fresh food out of a food truck run on a generator in a short period of time.

Rincon/ Puntas is a no frills type of laid back beach town. These Karen’s clearly had no idea what they signed up for vacationing here. The people that own/ work for Jacks Shack are good, honest people that have always been extremely kind to us. They’re running a small business & people like this that go out of their way to trash a business because they went in with the wrong expectations are the worst.

I’ve eaten here so many times for breakfast & lunch & quite literally have never taken a bite that wasn’t delicious. 11/10 experience in every way every single time...

We don’t have anything but rave reviews for this charming breakfast/lunch spot. If anything, we wish they were open 7 days a week😉 Once we visited this little slice of heaven, we chose to revisit for every available meal. The owners are kind and friendly and the food is (chef’s kiss) delicious.

The hot sauce is small batch and since I can’t handle spice, I opted for the mild. It has a pineapple base and is a perfect complement for all the things. We’ve had power bowls, yogurt bowls, tacos and burritos, breakfast and lunch. It was all amazing!! We took it to go and ate it on the beach one day. And the fresh juice… get it! We had never had fresh guanábana or acerola juice but we loved it all. We had fish tacos made with rainbow runner caught fresh in Rincon. So good!! Did I mention the cookies? Get those too! They’ll sell out!

This was my little slice of breakfast taco heaven while in Rincon! Though we had options to eat at other places, I didn't want to go anywhere else because their breakfast tacos were the absolute best I've ever had. They even get some of the cheese on the bottom of the tortilla and it gets melty and crispy which takes the taco up another level. So good!

Try the juice! They have a few options each day that change daily. I had the watermelon one morning and it was really refreshing.
