810 Butcher Shoppe and Deli — Restaurant in Ringgold

Extremely disappointed. While the food itself was good, my food was totally wrong and the portions are next to nothing. Almost $30 for a “Rueben” and chicken salad. See pics below. The reason for the one star was the service. The owner and the person working the counter seemed to have a hard time clarifying what came on the sandwiches and how to actually hand them off to customers in an effective way. When I finished paying, I told the cashier I was going to wait up front in the chairs for my food so I wouldn’t be in the way of other customers. She acknowledged it, okay cool. Quite a few minutes later when I noticed the folks who came in after me started leaving with their food, I stood up to see what was going on. The cashier had given my food to someone else and they had been gone. Instead of offering to remake it - the cashier decided she was going to stop what she’s doing, run out in the streets, find the folks who had my food and attempt to recover it. So after waiting all that time for two tiny sandwiches, having some stranger go through my food, ON TOP of no offer to remake it - they didn’t even apologize. When I got home, my Rueben had peppers, lettuce, mustard, mayo, everything I did not want. Ice cold. Picked through by a stranger. The pickle was just as thin as my pinky. The portion of chicken salad on my husband’s food was just as minuscule. Not even five bites. Hopefully they’ll improve but we won’t be going back after what happened. This deli is awesome!! All the meats and cheeses, from the Amish country in northern Ohio, are so fresh and delicious! I found out that the meats and cheeses are gluten free and with less preservatives. Omg!!! The bread from Bluffview is scrumptious… try the Rosemary Olive Oil… my favorite!! This place is very good. My pimento sandwich was cooked perfectly and was nice and warm. I saw a review on here that left 1 star. I understand the situation but don’t agree. These are new business owners and I think people need to remember that when visiting.
