I would give it a zero if it were possible. My father-in-law and I showed up for dinner. We were greeted by a delightful young server and had a very nice service. Unfortunately, the service was abruptly interrupted by us trying to order a meal. We’ve been there for approximately 1.5 hours when we tried to place our order for a meal at 9:15 on a Saturday night. At that time, the server told us that the kitchen had already shut, as it did not have set kitchen hours, as it was not busy enough to sustain the customers that were already in the building. We were not the only people in the establishment, nor did the server inform us that the kitchen was closing, “because he was busy”.
My son and his girlfriend joined us earlier, and we did have the opportunity to play some games outside, which was always nice. We have done so in the past without issue, even with minors, 17 and 18 years of age. After being informed that they were not going to serve us dinner, they promptly asked my son and his guest to leave because they were minors.
It was a horrendous experience on so many levels, we essentially left after all of the restaurants were shut, minus fast food. No dinner was served, without warning and no concern for the customers who were present. I have to say this is the definition of chaos on so many levels.
You have paying customers in the building who want to order food, and they could not be accommodated because it was not “busy enough” for your kitchen to remain open. Well perhaps, that word should’ve been expressed to the people that were expecting a meal.I know this establishment has run into trouble in the past for having minors, however minors with accompanying adults outside, seems to be a bit ridiculous. Especially, if there is an operational kitchen from which, we were all trying to obtain food.
Honestly, I feel is the management is a laughing stock, they let the server do all the hard talking and never presented themselves in spite of all of the significant issues.
We will NEVER RETURN!!!!! And what a shame after many successful visits in the past.
I expect that this too will be a figment of history before long, much like its predecessors.
And I guess it remains clear, why the Rio Rancho Police Department continues to put DUI checkpoints outside, Never mind the families or the folks looking for meals. Continue to...
Read moreWe went on Thursday for karaoke and we were disappointed to say the least. We ordered drinks, we wanted food but the kitchen closed at 7! Who does that? Anyway, please be warned, this place puts no pricing on their cocktail/beer menu. There were 5 of us and in a matter of 2 hours, we were charged 285.00!!!!!!!!! We didn't even get buzzed at all, very questionable on how much alcohol they put in their mixed drinks. Might as well just order a coke. Also, they closed earlier than they usually do because we were told business was slow. Heck, if they charge that much for drinks then they make a killing robbing people. Be aware that they charge a 25% percent gratuity on parties of 5 or more for every 100 dollars spent. We were not told this and ended up leaving our sub-par waitress a cash tip on top of the added gratuity!!!!!! She made out like a bandit on our table and she was kind of rude. I would have not left a tip if I knew she already stole her tip. This place sucks and we won't be back. P.S., the DO NOT give itemized receipts so you can't argue on how much they charged you. My husband called about our check and he was told, "oh yeah I saw that, that was the largest charge I've seen." Mind you, we all walked out of there SOBER! Edit: So my husband went to get an itemized receipt from last night. No extra gratuity was added, waitress was still rude, and drinks were extremely over priced and very weak. Well played, get the customer to order more drinks because there's hardly any alcohol in them, and then charge 10 bucks a drink. PUT PRICING ON THE MENUS TO AVOID SITUATIONS LIKE THIS IN THE FUTURE! It looks extremely sneaky and underhanded to go to these lengths to make a buck. I can definitely see why business is slow. I hope I can save customers from getting ripped off like we did. Added: There was 30 dollars worth of drinks we didn't order at all. Someone got free bacardi lights and apple crown royal on us. You're welcome!...
Read moreZero stars. My husband and I went out for a drink on Friday, July 16th, at 8:55p.m. We entered the establishment well dressed, money, credit cards, and smiling. We sat in two of (about 5) vacant seats at the bar. In less than 15 seconds after being stared at by 2 employees who did not acknowledge us, we were informed by the bartender, “Someone was sitting there”. There were plenty more open seats around. I asked if it was customary to save seats at the bar. The verbal response was curt and facial expressions were rude:
“We save seats all the time”. At that instance we were then informed “they were not coming back”. The lady was rude and unprofessional and obviously did not want to serve us. She walked off and was very abrupt, rude and unresponsive. We just sat and stared. We were still not asked if we wanted a drink, not provided a “hello” or anything. At this point, I was ready to leave. The female bartender then stated, “You can sit there if you want to”. Again, tone condescending and unprofessional. This lady, (who was wearing glasses), obviously did not want to serve us. We got up and walked out with not one person stopping us. We never lost our temper or raised our voices. We barely spoke because we weren’t spoken to. This makes me wonder... Did the color of our skin have anything to do with this incident? This employee needs checking. She’s out of line and making your business look bad. Very, very bad. Nowhere I’ve traveled in the world have I ever been told that a bartender is saving seats at a bar. I expect that better will be done to serve all patrons who wish to be served in the...
