Tavana's Pizza — Restaurant in Rising Sun

Placed my order online to pickup. Service was fast even with a little hiccup. Staff was friendly. I’d come back for the Alfredo. I got a few things, here were my thoughts: Fried Ravioli: Kind of soggy. :( not enough cheese or something was off I don’t know. Pizza: solid, slightly above avg. The cheese was delicious. Like great quality cheese or something, it was noticeable. The sauce was plain..however there was the right amount which is more important to me personally. I hate when there’s barely any sauce.

To note: I ordered a 10” pizza for $11. I don’t know which I got because it was labeled kids pizza…but there’s a $5 price difference. Tried to ask but they said it’s the same..? But then didn’t say anything about why cost was so much more.. Weird.

Ranch: yummy. Tasted homemade not sure if it is but I liked it a lot.

Fettuccini Alfredo: 10/10 delicious. Amazing.

There was no silverware and I didn’t notice, and we were eating on the go so that was unfortunate...

A nice pizzeria to attend with family. Service was prompt and friendly. A not overly complicated menu of good diversity with something enjoyable for all ages. Came in with a group of 8 this afternoon and was able to sit immediately. After placing our order we got our food in about 10-15 minute range which is great considering the amount of food our table. All of the food was brought hot and fresh and definitely has that hand made taste and feel to it. The owner checked on our table a couple of times to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall I would say this is a top tier pizza eatery. If you are Rising Sun, Indiana, this is a must stop for a enjoyable...

They were rude and hung up on me 3 times before taking my order. The ravioli was plain and flavorless. The cheesy bread was burnt to a crisp. The pizza was ok I suppose. And the carrot cake was dry and stale. My dog that eats anything and everything refused to eat any of it.This was my first time ever coming here or even hearing about it and I will never go back.
