Cousin's Pizza — Restaurant in River Vale

I used to go here all the time. The workers knew me as a regular and I loved the pizza. It was cheap $12 for a large pie and had a really tasty sweet tomato sauce. Then one day went in tto get my pizza but the place stunk of cleaning chemicals, I immediately thought to myself oh no. Went home skeptical and when I ate that pie it was a night and day difference from the 100 (at least) other pies I had gotten from cousins. Never went back. You will be missed... but i just can’t put my trust back with you guys there are just too many options...

PROS: There were only three things I liked. They had a TV, the pizza was great, and the staff seemed very nice.

CONS: The place was very unkept. While looking run down, the place was unsanitary. The tables had crumbs on it and were very sticky. The bathroom was so disgusting, especially the toilet, that I simply walked out of there and held it in. Plus, parking isn't all that great in the back.

OVERALL: If they were to deliver, or if you picked up then that's fine. As for going there....I'm not...

After hearing the folks in my hair salon rave about Cousins, we tried it for the first time. SOOO good! The pizza was perfect! We are skeptical about ordering wings from pizza places (my husband fancies himself a connoisseur), but these were crispy and delicious. I love a good spaghetti carbonara and I cannot believe that I found an authentic one for delivery! Can't wait to try more...
